XCMG's XZ2600E horizontal directional drilling rig made an appearance in Kunshan, contributing to the natural gas pipeline laying project in Kunshan. The construction pipeline is a 600-millimeter steel pipe, with a single section construction length of over 600 meters and a total construction length of approximately 10 kilometers.

During long-distance drilling, the project needs to pass through fish ponds, roads, forests and other areas, as well as complex geological conditions. The newly upgraded XZ2600E horizontal directional drilling rig features more intelligent operation and stronger power output. It completed an engineering crossing of over 440 meters in just 40 hours, and the entire project is expected to be completed within three months.

The XZ2600E horizontal directional drilling rig is a new type of intelligent horizontal directional drilling rig developed by XCMG Foundation in response to customer demands. The maximum backdrag force can reach 2600kN, and the maximum rotary torque is 92KN·m. It is suitable for long-distance and complex terrain conditions crossing, meeting the market demand for 200-ton class 800-1000mm large pipelines and rock geological construction.
