How does the Dynapac SEISMIC intelligent vibration compaction system provide a super fuel-efficient working mode
In the Dynabac CA series single drum roller products, the innovatively launched SEISMIC intelligent vibration compaction system enables the roller to detect and read the natural frequency conditions of the soil, conduct dynamic compaction degree measurements, and continuously adjust and optimize its own vibration to the optimal frequency to adapt to the characteristics of different compaction materials and ensure the maximum energy efficiency. So as to achieve the ultimate goals of saving time, energy conservation, environmental protection and reducing equipment wear.
Recently, the CA3500D single steel wheel roller equipped with the SEISMIC system from Dynapac has passed the authoritative certification of the Swedish National Institute of Road and Transport (VTI), and an experimental report has been issued. This report verifies that the CA3500D roller not only has outstanding compaction performance, but also its energy-saving effect under various working conditions can be regarded as a breakthrough model in the industry.
This test, conducted over a period of two weeks and under various working conditions, examined the energy consumption of the CA3500D under three different working modes: the standard compaction setting mode, the energy-saving compaction setting mode, and the energy-saving setting +SEISMIC mode. When SEISMIC was enabled, the average daily fuel consumption was significantly reduced, and at the same time, the operational efficiency was also notably improved.
The principle of the SEISMIC system lies in treating the steel wheel of the roller and the soil as a dynamic system, and maximizing efficiency through harmonious resonance. At natural frequencies, the amplitude of the steel wheel of the roller is significantly enhanced. This is attributed to the fact that energy is automatically input into the system at the correct time, which maximizes the contact force between the steel wheel and the ground, achieving the greatest degree of compaction and energy efficiency.
Based on the most accurate frequency setting, the number of times required for compaction can be directly reduced, thereby saving time and fuel costs. In the test, under the condition of ensuring the same degree of compaction, the roller with the SEISMIC system turned on could reduce the number of compactions by 25% compared with the one with the Seismic system turned off. The savings in working time, combined with Dynapac's innovative ECO energy-saving mode, can reduce fuel consumption by up to 10% compared to similar road rollers.
Through real-time dynamic data comparison, it can be seen that the Denapac roller equipped with the SEISIMIC system has maximized the compaction efficiency compared with the traditional roller of the same type and size, while significantly reducing energy consumption.
The noise level of the equipment equipped with SEISMIC has also been significantly reduced, minimizing the impact on operators and the surrounding environment. Moreover, due to the lower compaction frequency, the wear of the vibration power system (including hydraulic components and mechanical components) is significantly reduced, increasing the retention value of the equipment and enabling it to achieve greater profits in second-hand transactions.
The innovative SEISMIC system enables equipment to blend harmoniously with nature, serving as the ultimate tool for maintaining energy-efficient and high-efficiency construction. It leads the vibration compaction technology into a brand-new intelligent era!
