In 2013, XCMG's XSZ800 deep well drilling rig was successfully rolled off the production line, marking XCMG Foundation's official entry into the resource drilling and extraction field. It also launched the hydraulic top drive technology with great enthusiasm, providing XCMG's solution for the technological upgrade of domestic deep water well drilling RIGS. Moreover, it further advanced deeper and entered the development of geological rescue drilling RIGS and underground clean energy drilling RIGS, promoting the transformation and upgrading of its products towards high-end equipment.

XCMG's deep water well drilling rig series products are widely used in water well, ground source heat pump, deep geothermal, hot spring, coalbed methane, shale gas and other resource drilling and production projects. Currently, it has a rich range of products including crawler type, vehicle-mounted type and modular type that can drill to a depth of 4,000 meters, and has become one of the few manufacturers in the industry that can produce large-scale deep water well drilling RIGS.

The newly launched XSM1800 modular drilling rig is a dedicated energy exploration and extraction equipment developed by XCMG in response to the demands of the shallow resource extraction industry. It combines the features of fully hydraulic vehicle-mounted drilling RIGS and oil drilling RIGS, and adopts modern control technologies such as 5G, modularization, digitalization, automation and intelligence. With the support of strength, the latecomers successfully took the lead

Although a latecomer in the field of resource drilling and extraction, XCMG Foundation adheres to the high-quality development of "three highs and one feasibility", and has always been committed to creating more comprehensive, more efficient, more valuable and higher-standard products and services for users.

In the 2021 gold mine explosion accident in Qixia, Shandong Province, XCMG XSC1200 vehicle-mounted deep well drilling rig rushed to Qixia overnight to carry out rescue work. As the only domestic large-tonnage deep well drilling rig at the scene, XCMG deep well drilling rig adopted the large-diameter pneumatic down-the-hole hammer method. Its total drilling depth ranked second, and its verticality was precisely within the target tunnel range, fully ensuring the rescue work!

Afterwards, the leaders of the First Exploration Team of Shandong Provincial Bureau of Coal Geology, undaunted by the long distance, presented XCMG Foundation with a bright red banner inscribed with "Life First, Practicing the Original Aspiration; Major National Equipment Demonstrates Responsibility" and a sincere letter of thanks.

In the ancient town of Fenghuang, Hunan Province, XCMG's deep well drilling rig XSL12/600 drilled to a depth of 1,820 meters and successfully drilled the first hot spring well in the ancient town. In this hot spring extraction construction, XCMG adopted the air drilling technology and method, equipped with XCMG air compressors and drill pipes and tools. Relying on a powerful and efficient hydraulic system and a mature and reliable top driving force head device, the final drilling depth was 1,820 meters, exceeding its maximum designed drilling depth by 1,200 meters, and received a "super value" praise from the owner.

Up to now, the series of water well drilling RIGS have achieved dual leadership in technology and sales. The entire series of large-tonnage deep well drilling RIGS have been put on the market, providing equipment support for the exploration of domestic pneumatic down-the-hole hammer deep well drilling technology and offering a complete set of solutions for the rapid development of resource drilling and production.
