McConnell, Pa. (May 19, 2025) - JLG, a global leader in aerial work platforms and telescopic forklift trucks, a subsidiary of OSK Corporation (NYSE: OSK), announced the launch of the new JLG® 1230P hand-pushed lift platform. This product, with its outstanding working range, safety performance and efficiency improvement, has become the latest masterpiece of JLG's growing low-height product line.

Meanwhile, JLG has made significant upgrades to its full range of low-altitude aerial work equipment, covering two major series: push-type lifting platforms and non-powered types. This full-scale innovation demonstrates JLG's continuous commitment to operator safety, production efficiency and ease of use.

JLG 1230P: Defining a new Height for low-height product Lines Compared with traditional ladders and scaffolds, JLG's 1230P offers a more efficient and cost-effective new solution, setting a new benchmark for hand-pushed lifting platforms. Its working height reaches 5.5 meters, with a platform load capacity of 200 kilograms. It offers a 360-degree all-round high-altitude working range, enabling operators to complete tasks efficiently and comfortably while significantly reducing fatigue.

Core highlights include:

Work platform: Vertical guardrail system enhances protection

Automatic lock brake: Activated during lifting to enhance stability

Compact body: 71×85 cm platform, suitable for narrow Spaces

Flexible design: Easily pass through standard doorways and freight elevators

Mobility upgrade: Easy-to-lock casters combined with more optimized steering ability enable rapid positioning

The 1230P platform is limited to carrying one person, weighs less than 454 kilograms, and exerts little pressure on the ground, making it an ideal choice for sensitive ground operations.

Full product upgrade: Enhanced durability and user experience

JLG has made a series of improvements to its push-pull and unpowered lifting equipment by enhancing durability, mobility and operational experience, making them more suitable for a wide range of scenarios. These upgrades further implement JLG's philosophy of "reducing ladder reliance and enhancing safety and efficiency".

Key improvements cover:

Ergonomic steel platform: easier to enter and exit, stronger anti-slip performance, and improved durability.

Punching platform design: Enhance the transparency of the field of vision, improve drainage and air circulation

Vertical guardrail upgrade: Enhanced high-altitude protection

Improved casters system: One-click locking/unlocking for more flexible movement

Automatic locking brake: Standard on all hand-pushed models, with higher stability. The core design concept is safety, efficiency and multi-functionality

JLG's continuously expanding family of low-altitude aerial work platforms provides high-performance indoor solutions for fields such as mechanical and electrical engineering, HVAC, construction, facility maintenance, retail, healthcare, and data centers.

Bob Begley, Director of Product management for low-altitude aerial work platforms at JLG, said: "The launch and comprehensive upgrade of the 1230P are designed to help operators maximize efficiency and reduce operational risks. With lightweight design, compact size and advanced safety features, JLG's low-height aerial work platforms will continue to provide safe and efficient solutions for facility maintenance, commercial buildings and industrial applications that are superior to traditional ladders and scaffolds.
