The second 700-ton hydraulic excavator has fully absorbed the nearly 13,000 hours of "practical experience" of the first one in the Heidai Gou open-pit Coal Mine. The management of the lubrication system has become more intelligent, capable of achieving differentiated management of grease types at lubrication points and realizing the best match between reliability and economy.

The electronic control buffer system has been upgraded again to reduce the impact force during construction, making the equipment more solid and reliable.

China has also become the fourth country in the world to possess the R&D and manufacturing capabilities of hydraulic excavators with a capacity of over 700 tons.

In 2019, the XE7000 was officially put into operation at the Heidai Gou Coal Mine, one of the largest open-pit coal mines in Asia, taking on the responsibility of mining stripping. The average daily working hours are over 18 hours, with an excavation and loading capacity of over 1,500 cubic meters per hour, and the mobility rate exceeds 90%.
