The Structure and Working Principle of Loader Clutch
Loaders with mechanical power transmission systems generally use the same dry friction clutch as cars or tractors. This kind of clutch generally consists of four parts: the active part, the driven part, the pressing mechanism and the operating mechanism. The active part includes the flywheel, clutch housing and gland; the driven part includes the driven plate and driven shaft; the pressing mechanism includes the pressing spring. The operating mechanism includes the release lever, release bearing seat, release bearing, release fork, return spring, foot pedal and adjustment rod. When the clutch is in the engaged state, the engine's torque is transmitted from the crankshaft, through the flywheel and pressure plate to the driven plate through friction, and then transmitted to the transmission through the driven shaft. When the foot pedal is depressed, the inner end of the release lever is pushed to the left by adjusting the pull rod, release fork and release bearing seat. Since the middle of the release lever is based on the pillar on the clutch housing as the fulcrum, and the outer end is hinged with the pressure plate, it can overcome the pressure of the compression spring and pull the pressure plate to move to the right. In this way, the pressing force on both sides of the driven plate disappears, the friction force also disappears, the engine torque is no longer transmitted to the transmission, and the clutch is in a disengaged state. When the pedal is released, the pedal returns to its original position and the release bearing seat is pulled to the right by the return spring. At this time, the compression spring pushes the pressure plate to compress the driven plate on the flywheel, and the engine torque is transmitted to the transmission.
