The adjustment method of the loader clutch
During the operation of the clutch, due to the continuous wear of the parts, especially the wear of the friction plates on the clutch driven disc, the gap between the release lever and the end face of the release bearing will change. If this gap is too large, it will cause the clutch to disengage even when the pedal is fully depressed. If the clearance is too small, the separation bearing will always rotate along with the separation lever, and it will burn out or wear out very quickly. In addition, during the usage process, due to the different deformations and wear of the three separation levers, they will not be in the same plane perpendicular to the splined shaft. This will cause the clutch to disengage incompletely, making gear shifting difficult and quickly damaging the shift gears of the transmission. Incomplete clutch disengagement also accelerates the wear of the friction plates and reduces the service life of the clutch. Therefore, during use, the clutch should be inspected and adjusted regularly in accordance with the maintenance regulations. Taking the clutch of the SDZ10 loader as an example, this article introduces the adjustment method of the clutch.
(1) Adjustment of the separation lever position
When installing the clutch, it is necessary to first ensure that the distance from the inner end face of the release lever to the outer end face of the flywheel is (89±1) mm. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the inner end faces of the three separation levers are in the same plane perpendicular to the axis, with a mutual difference of no more than 0.2mm. When adjusting, first loosen the lock nut, then rotate the adjusting screw to make the heights of the three separation levers consistent. After adjustment, tighten the Atlas air compressor parts with the nut.
(2) Adjustment of the free travel of the clutch pedal
The gap between the separation lever and the working end face of the separation bearing should be 2mm. This gap is called the separation gap, which corresponds to the free travel of the pedal at 30mm. If it does not meet the requirements, the two lock nuts on the pull rod can be loosened, and then the pull rod can be turned to change its length to meet the requirements of the separation gap. After adjustment, the lock nuts should be tightened.
