Let's take a look at the paving expert Fogler at the bauma exhibition
A powerful paver with a complete range of models
At this year's bauma China exhibition, Fogler not only showcased a variety of high-performance models from its extensive product range, but also made its debut with two new products.
The brand-new Super 1380i and Super 1383i compact pavers have a paving width ranging from 0.75m to 5m and are equipped with an easy-to-operate ErgoBasic control system, offering a very high cost performance. The Super 1680-3 Li is equipped with the ErgoPlus control system and more practical functions. With a paving width of up to 8 meters, it is a typical representative among general-purpose pavers.
In addition, Fogler has launched two powerful machines: The Super 1880 Li universal paver with a paving capacity of up to 1,000 tons per hour and a paving width of up to 10 meters, as well as the representative Super 2180-3 Li high-grade road paver with a paving capacity of up to 1,100 tons per hour and a paving width of up to 13 meters.
Tailored for the Chinese market
All our models of pavers comply with Vogler's strict quality standards and are specially designed to meet the requirements of Chinese customers and users: the robust and wear-resistant feeding components enable them to efficiently and to a high standard lay asphalt materials and cold coarse-grained materials, such as water-stabilized layers (CTB).
The large hoppers of Super 1680-3Li, Super 1880 Li and Super 2180-3Li can achieve rapid feeding and continuous spreading. The design of the hoppers also enables them to adapt to various material carts in the Chinese market, facilitating material supply.
High-efficiency and low-consumption drive technology
The Vogler paver is equipped with a powerful diesel engine, which reduces emissions and fuel consumption: by combining a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) with an intelligent engine electronic control system, effective exhaust gas after-treatment is achieved, thereby significantly reducing pollutants.
Therefore, Fugler's pavers comply with the NR4 National IV emission standards and the suffix "i" has been added to their machine names. This letter stands for "Intelligent Emission Control", which means that the machine is equipped with an efficient diesel engine with advanced technology to ensure lower emissions.
Like all "-3" series pavers, the Super 1680-3Li and Super 2180-3Li are also equipped with the Vogler EcoPlus energy-saving and emission reduction package, which can further reduce emissions and achieve fuel savings of up to 25%.
Automatic control
In addition to the latest pavers, Vogel also showcased its pioneering technology for the automation control of the longitudinal and transverse slopes at this bauma exhibition: The Vogel Navitronic Plus 3D control system can achieve full automation control of the longitudinal and transverse slopes and the position of the screout. This system directly controls the steering of the crawler paver through the paver's control system and enables the paver to travel along the prescribed route. Navitronic Plus uses a virtual mode as a reference, which eliminates the time-consuming and costly wire rope setup during the site preparation period. By using the existing measurement data, the total cost of the measurement work has been greatly reduced.
In addition, its open interface enables it to be connected and used in conjunction with many well-known positioning systems and existing 3D positioning systems.
Economical and efficient paving
At this bauma exhibition, Fogler also demonstrated how to achieve economical and rapid asphalt topcoat construction using synchronous spraying technology: The Super 1800-3i paver equipped with a spraying module can complete the spraying of emulsified asphalt and the laying of the asphalt layer in one go. (Click on the picture below to view the application case of Fogler synchronous spraying construction)
On the one hand, it improves the paving quality: there will be no construction site vehicles running over the sprayed road surface and damaging the emulsified asphalt film; On the other hand, it enhances construction efficiency: the paving speed is three to five times faster than that of traditional asphalt paving.
The ultra-thin wear layer thickness of 1.2 to 2 cm not only significantly saves material and milling costs but also eliminates the need for secondary cleaning of the curbstone. All these factors give this process obvious economic advantages.
Another advantage of Fogler's modular machine concept is that construction enterprises can use this super 1800-3i paver equipped with a spraying module as both a regular asphalt paver and a spraying paver.
