The 2024 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "the Agricultural Machinery Exhibition") was held in Changsha, Hunan Province from October 26th to 28th. As the "barometer" and "compass" of China's agricultural machinery industry, this exhibition attracted over 2,600 exhibitors from all over the world, showcasing the latest scientific and technological achievements in the global agricultural machinery field and reflecting the changes in the product structure of the agricultural machinery industry.

At this agricultural machinery exhibition, manufacturers including Zhongke Yuanchengli, Yunnei Power, and Shangchai Power have all released innovative products centered on the application of axial magnetization drive technology, bringing about a reshaping and shock to agricultural machinery with advanced technology.

The "World's largest horsepower intelligent electric tractor" is jointly driven by Panhu and Wantu

On the first day of the exhibition, Zhongke Yuandongli released two new high-horsepower intelligent electric tractors: Wantu 2004ET and Wantu 2604ET. Among them, the 2604ET, with its powerful performance, has become the world's most powerful intelligent electric tractor at present.

As a new model of pure electric tractor, the Wantu 2604ET is equipped with a 260-horsepower electric drive system. This system was jointly developed by Zhongke Yuantongli and Panhu. It is equipped with Panhu's ICS450K axial flux motor as the core drive, with the peak power of a single motor reaching 450kW, fully meeting the heavy-load operation requirements of a single machine. Meanwhile, compared with the radial flux motors of the same power available on the market, the volume power density of this motor has been significantly increased, and the axial space has been shortened by approximately 50%, making it more flexible in the overall design and space layout of the vehicle. The dual-rotor decoupled output enables stepless speed regulation, meeting the multiple demands of agricultural machinery walking and PTO and other agricultural tool systems. The peak torque of the single rotor has been significantly increased to 2800Nm, which is more than three times that of an engine with the same horsepower.

The Wantu 2004ET is also equipped with the ICS450K axial flux drive motor jointly developed with Panhu, with an output horsepower of 200HP, providing users with more diverse choices. In terms of medium and small horsepower models, Zhongke Yuanliforce also showcased products such as the 50-horsepower 504A-ET on site. This product is driven by the hub ICS60K axial flux motor, fully leveraging the typical features and advantages of the motor, such as light weight, small size, and wide high-efficiency range, to create better income value for users and farmers.

At this agricultural machinery exhibition, Shangchai Power released a brand-new generation of high-quality and high-performance agricultural machinery dedicated power 8Y, as well as the 8Y range extender composed of this engine and a hub axial flux generator.

The publicly available data on the spot shows that the Shangchai Power 8Y, with an 8L displacement, has a power output of 400Ps, reaching 50 horsepower per liter, offering a greater specific power. Additionally, this engine has a narrower width and a wider field of vision, capable of meeting the requirements of an ultra-large steering Angle of over 45° for the front wheels. The hub axial flux generator has a lighter self-weight and a smaller volume. Especially in the axial dimension, it can be reduced by more than two-thirds compared with the radial flux motor of the same power. The axial dimension can be fully matched with the engine flywheel housing, and the structure is more compact. In addition, the hub axial flux motor can achieve a working efficiency of over 90% under more than 90% operating conditions. This can fully take into account the universal curve characteristics of the engine and establish a high-efficiency zone superposition effect between the engine and the range extender generator, ensuring that the entire system operates at the optimal economic point all the time and achieving higher power generation efficiency. The system's maximum power generation efficiency of the 8Y range extender can reach 4.35kWh/L, enabling every drop of fuel to exert greater efficiency.

As a leading engine enterprise, Yunnei Power showcased 10 representative engines from various non-road sub-sectors at this agricultural machinery exhibition and grandly released the DEP140 range-extended tractor powertrain.

This powertrain is jointly developed by Panhu and Yunnei Power. It integrates multiple advanced technologies such as Yunnei YN40C engine and Panhu ICS230K axial flux generator. It can operate in pure electric and range-extended fully decoupled multi-mode, achieve stepless speed change, and provide efficient and comfortable operation. This solution can be selected for different models and is compatible with tractors ranging from 90 to 350 horsepower.

In addition, the new generation of multi-functional dual brake hub electric drive device driven by hub axial flux motor of Yining Hydraulic Co., Ltd. also made its debut at this agricultural machinery exhibition. The addition of the hub "Double Power" motor, which is lighter in self-weight, smaller in size and has a wide high-efficiency range, makes this system feature high integration, high performance and lightweight. It is powerful, safe and reliable, and highly versatile, providing stronger impetus for the implementation of new quality productivity in the agricultural machinery field.
