On June 5, 2025, at the construction site beside the Jiangyin Right Line Bridge spanning Xiake Avenue, with the roaring start of the KR240E high-performance fully hydraulic rotary drilling rig of Jiangsu Taixin Machinery Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Taixin Machinery"), the first bored pile of the 08 section of the Yancheng-Yichang High-Speed Railway project officially began drilling. As an important connection line of the national "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" high-speed railway network and a backbone line of Jiangsu's "Six Verticals and Six Horizontals" high-speed railway network, the substantive construction of the Yancheng-Yichang High-Speed Railway has kicked off. With its independently developed core equipment, Taixin Machinery has laid a solid pile foundation for this major project.

The Yancheng-Yichang High-Speed Railway, also known as the Yancheng-Taizhou-Xishan-Changzhou-Yichang Intercity Railway, is 311 kilometers long with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
