Maintenance
Pay attention to four points to help you reduce the wear of parts
All the machine operators know that for us who operate machines to do construction work, in order to make profits, we need to be efficient, continuous and non-stop. Equipment maintenance, which delays the construction period, will add a lot of costs to the construction. In many cases, parts are worn out and need to be replaced. Here, I would like to share four aspects that need attention to help you reduce the wear of parts.
Keep working at the rated load
The nature and magnitude of the working load of construction machinery have a significant impact on the wear and tear of mechanical parts. Generally speaking, the wear of parts will increase with the increase of load. When the load on a part exceeds the designed working load, its wear will intensify. Under the same conditions, stable loads cause less wear on parts, fewer malfunctions and a longer service life than high-frequency dynamic loads.
Prevent corrosion of parts
Corrosion on parts is sometimes hard to detect and easily overlooked, causing even greater harm.
Rainwater, chemicals in the air and other substances seep into mechanical parts through pipes, gaps and other components, corroding the parts. The continued operation of corroded parts will also accelerate the wear of machinery and increase mechanical failures. This requires managers and operators to make reasonable construction arrangements based on the local weather conditions and the on-site situation of the construction site at that time, and minimize the harm of chemical corrosion to mechanical parts as much as possible.
Clean in time to reduce the influence of mechanical impurities
Mechanical impurities generally refer to substances such as dust and soil, as well as some metal shavings and oil stains produced by construction machinery itself during its operation. Once these impurities reach the working surfaces of the machinery, the harm is very great: not only does it increase the friction force, but also raise the fuel consumption; Moreover, it will damage the lubricating oil film and scratch the mating surfaces.
Maintain a reasonable temperature for the parts
In work, each component has its own normal temperature range. Excessively high or low temperatures can affect the strength of parts. Therefore, it is necessary to control the temperature of some parts in combination with coolant and lubricating oil to ensure they operate within a reasonable temperature range.
If parts wear out less, they can be replaced less or even not at all. Saving expenses is making money!
