I. Running-in. Do a good job in the running-in and test run of new machines or engines after major overhauls. Carefully carry out the running-in and trial operation in accordance with the technical requirements and trial operation specifications of the manufacturer, and pass the inspection and adjustment. Thus, a relatively smooth and hard pressure-bearing surface and the most suitable fit clearance are obtained, providing a good basic condition for bearing loads and extending the service life of mating parts. After the trial operation, necessary technical maintenance should also be carried out according to the technical condition of the machinery.

Second, use qualified oil and water. The fuel and lubricating oil used in tractors and engines must comply with the quality standards stipulated by the state, and appropriate oil grades should be selected according to the season, region and the speed range of the engine. The cooling water should be soft water with low content of calcium and magnesium minerals. The simplest way to soften hard water is to boil it and let it settle. In general production practice. Every 1,000 hours of operation, the scale in the cooling system of the engine must be flushed to improve the engine's heat dissipation performance.

Iii. Normal guarantee: There are normal water tanks and oil pressure. The temperature of cooling water is generally between 70℃ and 90℃, and it is appropriate to maintain the normal water temperature between 80℃ and 90℃. When the water temperature is too low, it is difficult to start, the fuel cannot be fully combusted, the engine power decreases, and the carbon deposits increase. When the water temperature is too high, some parts are prone to expansion and deformation, and even accidents such as cylinder liner piston jamming and bearing bush burning may occur. It can also make the lubricating oil thinner, reduce the strength of the bearing oil film, accelerate wear, and may also reduce the supply of fresh air. The engine power has decreased. It is necessary to ensure a normal oil pressure, that is, to keep it between 2 and 3kgf/cm ². Excessive oil pressure can easily lead to oil leakage, resulting in poor lubrication. Low oil pressure indicates insufficient oil supply, unreliable lubrication, accelerated wear, and may even cause bearing seizure accidents. When abnormal water temperature and oil pressure are detected, they should be promptly eliminated based on the relevant causes.

Four. Operate correctly. To operate the tractor and engine correctly, do not work at excessive load or speed for a long time. Do not slam on the accelerator. Start smoothly, turn slowly at a low speed, and try to avoid sharp turns and sudden braking.

V. Maintenance rules must be strictly followed. In accordance with the spirit of prevention first and the principle that prevention is more important than cure and maintenance is more important than repair, regular cleaning, tightening, inspection, lubrication, adjustment and replacement of certain oxidized and damaged rubber and plastic parts and parts with excessive wear should be carried out on tractors and engines. Technical maintenance should be conducted on time and as required to ensure that all parts function normally, effectively and reliably.
