Methods for self-rescue when a bulldozer gets stuck

In the southern regions of our country, there is relatively more rainfall in spring. When a single bulldozer is used for pushing earth in areas with high water content or on muddy ground after rain, it is very likely to get stuck. When a vehicle gets stuck, the following self-rescue methods can be taken:

(1) If the bulldozer is pushing forward on a flat ground and does not get stuck too deeply, you can operate the bulldozer control lever, use the hydraulic blade to lower and lift the head of the machine, lower the tail, and return the tail to its original position. Then, shift the bulldozer into reverse gear I, appropriately increase the throttle, and engage the main clutch to push the bulldozer back a small distance (generally 50-100mm each time). Immediately, quickly press the brake pedal and disengage the main clutch lever. By repeating the entire process of the above operation so many times, the trapped bulldozer can be smoothly driven backward.

(2) If the trapped bulldozer cannot be driven backward by the above method, one end of the steel wire rope can be fixed to a tree or a pile, and the other end can be fixed to one or both tracks of the bulldozer (if only one track is trapped, the steel wire rope should be fixed to the trapped track). If both sides of the tracks are stuck and quite deep, two steel wires should be fixed to both sides of the tracks. Then start the engine, shift into reverse gear I (or forward gear I), slowly rotate the tracks, and wrap the steel wires around the tracks to drag the bulldozer out.
