In the tractor power market, Yuchai has achieved good results in the natural gas market, resource transportation, and hazardous chemicals market through joint development with original equipment manufacturers, strengthening channels in the terminal market, and deeply exploring major customers. Yuchai K13N has been comprehensively upgraded, with its power expanded to 500Ps and gas consumption as low as 30kg per 100 kilometers. It has been unanimously recognized by the market, and its annual sales have increased significantly. The new high-power gas engines K14N and K15N are fully compatible with mainstream models of FAW Jiefang, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, Foton Auman, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile, Dongfeng Xinjiang, and Shaanxi Automobile Commercial Vehicles. It is expected that they will achieve significant growth in volume in 2024.

In the resource transportation and hazardous chemicals markets, Yuchai's high-horsepower heavy-duty motorcycles have performed commendably. The Yuchai K11 coal-carrying mother and child trucks have achieved batch sales in the northern markets such as North China and Northwest China. The S06 has also gained favor among leading express delivery customers in the long-distance express transportation market due to its low fuel consumption advantage.

With the full introduction of new products such as Yuchai S04, Yuchai's advantages in the medium and heavy-duty dump truck power market have been further highlighted, and its market share continues to rank first in the industry.

In the special vehicle power market, Yuchai's truck cranes have emerged as a powerful force, leading the market share by a wide margin. Among them, Yuchai K08/K09, which is matched with Sany and Zoomlion 25T-80T truck cranes, has become a main-selling product and has been put into the market in batches with XCMG cranes. In line with the development demands of the power market for truck-mounted cranes, Yuchai has further enriched its power product chain for truck-mounted cranes. Throughout the year, it sold nearly 10,000 dedicated power units for truck-mounted cranes, with a market share as high as 63%. In the market of mixer truck power, Yuchai K08 has become the benchmark power in the field of 8-12 cubic meter concrete transportation with its advantages of strong power, fuel economy and reliability.

In the traditional bus power market, Yuchai's sales volume increased by more than 36% year-on-year, and its market share ranked first in the industry. Among them, the K11 is equipped with 13-meter tourist buses from Yutong and Xiamen King Long, leading the trend of large passenger vehicles with large displacement power.

In the loader power market, Yuchai has seen a 50% year-on-year increase in sales of its 20 loader power units, thanks to the introduction of the cost-effective F39 product and its breakthrough in overseas markets. In the 50 loader market, Yuchai introduced the product combination of "range extender +A08", seizing the initiative in the new energy and lightweight markets. The performance of its products has won high recognition from users.

Yuchai has continuously deepened its cooperation with mainstream manufacturers in the industry such as Sany, Zoomlion, Liugong, XCMG, Sanyo Intelligent, and Lingong. The sales volume of T4 dedicated power for crawler excavators has increased by 81% year-on-year. In addition, in the wheel excavator power market, Yuchai's share exceeds 90%.

Yuchai's K15/K16 series of high-horsepower engines, with their first-mover advantage, have led the transformation of mining vehicles in the industry towards high-end and large-scale, and their sales have continued to rise.

In the high-end agricultural machinery market, Yuchai, with its superior product quality and service guarantee, has accelerated the replacement of imported power vehicles. Its sales volume has increased by 102% year-on-year, and its market share has exceeded 50%.

Not only that, Yuchai seized the export opportunities, and the export sales volume of general machinery power in 2023 increased by 75% year-on-year.

In 2023, Yuchai, in collaboration with its clients, sought opportunities amid challenges and delivered a satisfactory performance: its leading position in the domestic industry was further consolidated, and overseas sales of its products increased by over 30%.

In the diesel power generation market, Yuchai has made significant breakthroughs in high-end markets such as data centers, oil systems, banking systems, and airports. Orders for data centers in Guizhou, Hebei and other places have soared.

In the gas-fired power generation market, Yuchai has achieved a milestone development, with its sales doubling year-on-year. High-power gas engines have made significant breakthroughs in the gas power generation and alloy exhaust gas power generation markets, and have been successfully introduced into overseas gas markets.

In the Marine power market, Yuchai has broken through new areas such as wind power installation vessels, 3,000KW electric push-pull tugboats, and offshore platform cranes, successfully breaking the monopoly of foreign products.

With the steady advancement of its internationalization strategy, Yuchai's overseas sales of Marine and power generation products have maintained double-digit growth. Particularly, its high-power engines with more than 12 cylinders have seen explosive growth, with sales increasing by 353% year-on-year. The brand's overseas influence has steadily risen.

The range extender is a signature product of Yuchai Xinlan. It has been put into mass production with mainstream mining vehicles such as Lingong, Tongli, Shanhe Juding, XCMG, and Tiechen, and has been successfully matched with loaders of brands like Lingong, Yingxuan Heavy Industry, and Nanjing Kaiwo.

In terms of hybrid products, the world's first hybrid electric drive continuously variable transmission powertrain (IE-POWER) developed by Yuchai Xinlan has been launched and sold, attracting widespread attention from the industry. Currently, this system has been integrated into 14 mainstream tractor manufacturers including Wode, Kail, Wenzheng, Yingxuan, Kaite, and Liugong.

In terms of pure electric drive systems, Yuchai Xinlan has completed the development of 2T/2.5T/3.5T/49T pure electric products. Our entire range of products is compatible with major automakers such as FAW Jiefang, Geely, Liuzhou Automobile, Wanxiang, Wenzheng, and Sanhuan.

In terms of fuel cell power systems, the 150kW and above high-power products independently developed by Yuchai Xinlan have achieved the expected design goals. Buses equipped with hydrogen fuel cells will be demonstrated and put into use in Daxing, Beijing in the near future.
