XCMG's mining and tunnel equipment "intelligently mines" with a reduction of one person per shift

The mining depth of a certain phosphate mine in Yichang City, Hubei Province ranges from +787 meters to +560 meters, and the phosphate resources are abundant. In response to the national call, the project department of this mine has promoted the development of mechanization, continuously increased investment in mechanical equipment and upgraded all of them to the "top configuration" in the industry.

The project department gradually upgraded the original 2-cubic-meter scraper to a XCMG 3-cubic-meter scraper and gradually upgraded the original manual pneumatic leg rock drill to rock drill with a rock drill jumper. At present, we have dozens of pieces of equipment such as XCMG WJ-3 scraper, XCMG CYTJ45S rock drilling jumper and XCMG CYTJ45 (L) rock drilling jumper, with a very high degree of mechanization.

Before mechanization replaced manual mining, the original three construction operation faces required the input of 18 people from three work teams. After the introduction of XCMG's complete set of mining and tunnel equipment, the number of workers has been significantly reduced. Currently, a team of five workers is needed, and each rig can reduce one worker. At present, the five XCMG rock drilling RIGS have achieved a mechanized reduction of five workers, with both safety and efficiency improving.

When using the original 2-cubic-meter scraper, it takes 21 minutes to fill a truckload. After upgrading to the XCMG 3-cubic-meter scraper, it now takes only 12 minutes to fully load a truck, with an efficiency increase of over 40%. This effectively reduces time costs and enhances the efficiency of safe production.

Since the XCMG equipment was successively delivered to the site, the XCMG after-sales team has been providing full-process tracking services. They regularly inspect the product performance and maintenance of the equipment operators, emphasize the key precautions for operation and use, and ensure that the underground production progress is advanced on schedule. XCMG service personnel have been repeatedly awarded the title of "Mine Guardian" and have been praised by customers for XCMG's gold medal service.

The improvement of equipment automation level is an inevitable trend for mines to move towards intelligent and digital construction.
