Troubleshooting Common Faults of Grader Components
1. The engine (l) cannot start ① There is air in the diesel oil suction pipe of the engine. You can use a hand oil pump to deflate it. ② The battery has a large power loss and should be recharged. ③ The starter is damaged and should be replaced. (2) It operates normally at idle speed and stalls at high throttle. It is usually because the diesel oil suction filter or pipeline is clogged and should be cleaned. 2. The control pressure of the gearbox-torque converter system (l) is zero or low ① Check the oil level and add No. 8 hydraulic transmission oil according to regulations. ② Check the oil suction filter and fine filter, clean or replace them. ③ Check the control valve and 4 paper pads, clean or replace them. ④ Check the variable speed pump, disassemble or replace it. (2) There is no pressure or low pressure in a certain gear ① Check the control valve and paper pad, clean or replace them. ② Check the two clutches corresponding to this gear and replace the damaged parts. (3) The control pressure is normal, but the grader does not move ① Check the gear selector fuse and install the fuse. ② Check the gear selector and corresponding circuit, and replace damaged parts. (4) The control pressure is normal, but the gear position is chaotic. Check the solenoid valve and replace it with a new one. (5) The torque converter oil temperature rises too fast. In addition to checking the oil level, it is also necessary to check whether the variable speed pump and inlet and outlet pressures are normal, and whether the heat dissipation of the cooling system is good. If necessary, adjust the inlet and outlet pressures and V-belts, and clean the radiator. 3. The multi-way valves controlling the left lifting cylinder of the working hydraulic system and service brake system (l) all have no action, and the brake fails (no pressure). Check the working pump and replace it with a new pump if necessary. (2) All the multi-way valves that control the left lifting cylinder have no action, but the braking system is working normally. Clean the corresponding safety valve on the combination valve, and adjust the system working pressure to 13 MPa if necessary. (3) All the multi-way valves that control the right lifting cylinder are inactive. Clean the corresponding two safety valves on the combination valve. If necessary, adjust the system working pressure to 13 MPa or 18 MPa, or replace the pump with a new one. (4) When the left and right lifting cylinders vibrate, clean the hydraulic lock; replace the seals; check the throttle valve. (5) It is difficult for the rotating circle to rotate. Check whether the motor and worm gear box are working normally, whether the axial and radial clearances of the rotating circle are reasonable, and add lubricating oil to the guide rails. (6) The front wheel automatically tilts to clean the hydraulic lock and replace damaged parts. (7) When the lifting hydraulic cylinder sinks, check the hydraulic lock and hydraulic cylinder, and replace damaged parts. (8) The brake is locked and the brake valve cannot be cleaned while walking. (9) The brake fails, but the working system works normally. Clean the brake valve and pressure limiting valve, and adjust the system pressure to normal values. Atlas air compressor accessories (10) automatically deviate when turning. Clean the oil supply valve or replace it with new parts. 4. Steering system (l) Steering failure ① Check the oil level of the hydraulic oil tank and add hydraulic oil if necessary. ② Check the steering pump and disassemble or replace it if necessary. ③ Check the steering gear, adjust the system pressure or replace it with new parts. (2) If the steering is heavy, adjust the system working pressure or replace the steering pump.
