Some Common Sense about Using the TMR Feed Mixer

The TMR feed mixer is only effective when its working efficiency is guaranteed, which is an undeniable fact. Today, I will share some common sense about using the feed mixer to avoid malfunctions during production and prevent any impact on production. Let's take a look:

1. Check if the power supply and motor wiring are normal.

2. Check if all bolts are tightened and if the lubrication is good.

3. Check the tension of the transmission belt. Press the belt with your fingers (with moderate force), and the belt should have a 20-30 millimeter sag.

4. Rotate the main shaft pulley by hand. Check if it rotates smoothly and steadily. If the rotating parts are flexible, you can start the machine.

5. Conduct a trial run after starting the machine to check if the rotation direction of the feed mixer is correct. If the rotation direction is incorrect, swap the two wires of any two conductors of the motor power supply connection.

6. After running the machine for 3-4 minutes without materials, pour materials into the main material hopper to test the working performance of the feed mixer. Check if there is any powder leakage at various connection parts on the feed mixer and observe the flow of materials inside the machine. If the movement of the materials inside the machine is not smooth, it will affect the uniformity of the mixture. At this time, stop the machine for inspection. If the roughness of the inner wall of the cone cylinder of the feed mixer causes poor material flow, allow the materials to grind and smooth inside the machine for a period of time to solve the problem.

7. The bearing housing of the feed mixer should be cleaned every 500 hours of operation and qualified and appropriate lubricating oil should be replaced. After each shift of work, cut off the power supply, clean the residual materials in the machine to prevent the materials from deteriorating.
