Maintenance
Daily maintenance and upkeep of loaders
First, carry out running-in maintenance on the vehicle in accordance with the requirements in the loader manual. The running-in period for a new vehicle takes approximately 60 hours. During this period, the following points must be observed
Read the loader manual carefully and pay attention to every precaution in it.
2. During the running-in period, the forward gear and reverse gear should be evenly arranged for running-in. During the running-in period, the loading weight shall not exceed 70% of the rated load.
3. Pay attention to the lubrication condition of the machine and replace or add lubricating oil at the prescribed time.
4. It is necessary to constantly pay attention to the temperature of the transmission, torque converter, front and rear axles, wheel hubs and brake drums. If there is any overheating, the cause should be identified and eliminated.
5. During the running-in period, it is advisable to load loose materials and avoid doing it too abruptly or too quickly.
6. Check the temperature and connection conditions of each component of the electrical system, the power supply status of the generator, the working conditions of lighting, etc.
7. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the tightness of bolts and nuts on all key components of the loader (such as the engine, axle box transformer, rim, drive shaft, etc.).
8. After the running-in period is over, clean the filter screen of the transmission oil pan and replace it with new oil. And change the engine oil and drive axle oil
Secondly, the loader should be regularly maintained in the following stages:
Every day (every 10 hours), visually inspect the machine to see if there are any abnormalities or leaks. Check the engine oil level, fuel tank level, radiator water level and brake fluid. Check the lights and instruments; Check the tire pressure and the lubrication of each hinge point; Check the tightness of the bolts at key parts.
Every two weeks (every 100 hours), in addition to repeating the daily inspection items mentioned above, the diesel tank fuel filter screen, engine cylinder head and torque converter oil cooler should also be cleaned. Check the battery level and apply a thin layer of vaseline at the joints. It is essential to replace the gear oil of the front and rear drive axles.
Every month (every 250 hours), in addition to repeating the inspection items of the previous half month, the tightening torque of the rim fixing bolts should also be checked. Check the oil levels of the front and rear axles; Check whether there are cracks in the force-bearing welds of the working device and the front and rear frames. Check and adjust the foot brake and emergency stop brake. It is essential to conduct a thorough inspection of the engine: check the tightness and damage of the engine fan belt, compressor and generator belt. Check the air filter service indicator of the engine intake system. If the yellow piston on the indicator rises to the red area, the air filter element should be cleaned or replaced.
Every three months (every 500 hours), in addition to repeating the above monthly inspection items, it is also necessary to check and tighten the connecting bolts between the front and rear axles and the frame. The engine oil and the oil filter element must be replaced. Check the valve clearance of the engine and clean the fuel tank and oil suction filter screens. Check the steering system and the idle travel of the steering wheel.
Every six months (every 1,000 hours), in addition to repeating the above-mentioned inspection items every three months, it is also necessary to check and replace the transmission oil, clean the oil filter and the oil pan. Check the operation of the engine and replace the diesel filter of the engine. Test various thermometers and pressure gauges; Replace the gear oil of the drive axle and the return oil filter element of the hydraulic oil tank. Check the brake booster and replace the brake fluid.
In addition to repeating the above-mentioned semi-annual inspection items every year (every 2,000 hours), the engine should also be overhauled in accordance with the diesel engine manual. Replace the oil in the transmission, front and rear axles, and hydraulic oil. Check the working conditions of the foot brake and parking brake. If necessary, disassemble and inspect the wear of the friction plates. Clean and inspect the seals and springs of the brake booster, replace the brake fluid, and check the braking sensitivity. By measuring the natural settlement of the oil cylinder, check the sealing of the distribution valve and the working oil cylinder, and inspect the flexibility of the steering system. Check the weld conditions of the working device, frame and rim.
The following points should also be noted during the operation of the loader:
When changing hydraulic oil, brake fluid, gear oil and lubricating oil, the models specified by the loader manufacturer must be used. Special attention should be paid that brake fluids of different models must not be mixed.
In winter (when the general temperature is below -5℃), the engine should be preheated before starting. It should be preheated to above 30 to 40℃ before starting. Antifreeze should be added to the radiator. (For vehicles that do not use antifreeze in winter, all the cooling water in the radiator, engine block and heater must be drained every day when the machine is not in operation.)
3. Users are strictly prohibited from modifying the loader privately. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any quality issues caused by such modifications.
4. The diesel used in loaders must be pure and have undergone at least 72 hours of sedimentation. The grade of diesel should meet the specified requirements.
5. The hydraulic transmission oil used in the gearbox and torque converter, as well as the hydraulic oil used in the hydraulic system, must be clean.
The diesel engine is only allowed to operate at full load when the outlet water temperature exceeds 60℃ and the engine oil temperature exceeds 50℃. When in operation, the engine water temperature and oil temperature should not exceed 95℃. The oil temperature of the torque converter should not exceed 120℃. When the oil temperature exceeds the allowable value due to heavy-load operation, the machine should be stopped for cooling.
7. The power of the diesel engine used in loaders decreases with the increase of altitude, ambient temperature and relative humidity. Therefore, when using loaders, it is necessary to pay attention to the local environmental conditions and obtain the actual power of the diesel engine under local conditions in accordance with the requirements of the power correction table in the "Diesel Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual".
