Maintenance
What are the requirements for the inspection and repair of fork frames?
There are two types of fork frames: plate type and sliding rod type.
The fork frame is a fully welded frame. On the outer wall of the fork frame, two pairs of roller shafts, upper and lower, are welded to install the rollers.
1) The inspection of fork frame deformation can be carried out by placing the fork frame flat on a plate and measuring the axes of two pairs of rollers. The flatness error of the roller axes should not exceed 1mm. When exceeded, it can be corrected and repaired. Or the roller shaft can be surfacing and then processed to the standard size. When processing the roller shaft, it is necessary to align the roller shaft.
2) When cracks appear on the fork frame, a V-shaped bevel must be made along the crack with a grinding wheel for surfacing welding. If the crack occurs at the original weld seam, the cracked weld seam should be removed. The length of the removed seam should exceed the obvious tail of the crack by 50-100mm. The new weld seam should be straight, dense, truly penetrated, and have a smooth transition with the base metal.
