Fault Analysis of ABG423 Paver
The engine won't start
The engine of the ABG423 paver is a Deutz BF6M1013 turbocharged water-cooled diesel engine, with an output power of 126KW and a rotational speed of 2300rpm.
1.1 Circuit system failure
The starting circuit is composed of a battery, a starting switch, a starting relay, a starting motor, etc. The reasons for the failure to start are as follows
(1) The battery is discharged. Measure with a multimeter (discharge device). If it doesn't meet the requirements, remove it and charge it.
(2) If the fuse F5 of the start relay burns out, open the operation console and replace the fuse of the relay.
(3) The flameout solenoid valve is stuck. Remove the solenoid valve and replace it.
1.2 Fuel supply system failure
The reasons for the fuel supply system are as follows:
(1) If there are bubbles in the diesel or the fuel quantity is low, release the air through the vent bolt or add sufficient fuel
(2) The diesel filter element is clogged. Replace the filter element.
(3) If a single pump fails to pump oil or the high-pressure oil pipe is damaged, remove each high-pressure oil pipe one by one for judgment and then replace them.
After the machine is started, it can only move in one direction
If the proportional control solenoid valve of the drive oil pump is short-circuited or open-circuited, replace the solenoid valve. The contacts of the relay K7 that operates in the forward and backward directions are not in good contact. Replace the solenoid valve.
The paver cannot travel in a straight line
When the horn sounds and the speed sensor control light is on, it indicates that there is a problem with the speed sensor. Troubleshooting method: Check the F4 fuse, clean the sensor or replace the sensor.
The steering potentiometer is not adjusted correctly or the engine speed is too low. Troubleshooting method: Adjust the potentiometer or increase the engine speed.
It doesn't work when switching to the transition speed position
The cause is the interruption of the current to the electromagnetic coil. Troubleshooting method: Check the F9 fuse or inspect the cable.
5. Hydraulic oil temperature alarm
High hydraulic oil temperature of the ABG423 paver is a common phenomenon. Troubleshooting methods:
Ensure good ventilation and open the side panels on both sides.
Clean the cooler. To ensure the normal cooling of the hydraulic oil, the oil cooler should be cleaned after every 250 hours of operation. First, use a solvent to dissolve the dirt, then use a hose to flush with water or steam. The flushing direction should be opposite to the airflow direction, that is, from the exhaust side of the cooler.
Clean the cylinder heat dissipation ribs of the engine. After cleaning, let the engine run for a few minutes to heat and evaporate the remaining water to prevent rusting.
6. Central lubrication device failure
The stirring blades do not work when the pump is started. Exclusion method; Check the power supply and fuse to measure the voltage and current of the power supply. If there is no voltage, check along the connecting wires and eliminate the fault. If there is voltage but the pump still does not work, replace the pump.
The oil output is cut off by the safety valve, and the sequential distributor behind the pump stops working. Troubleshooting method: Loosen all the output ports on the main distribution. At this time, there is still pressure in the system. If grease overflows from a certain output port under pressure, it indicates that the output port is a blocked area. Tighten all the output ports on the main distributor and inspect along the blocked output port hoses to identify the blocked bearing areas and eliminate the causes of the blockage.
