"Technology value Max up!" Yuchai's low-carbon and intelligent achievements were showcased at the Guangxi Advanced Technology Exhibition

The 2023 National Science and Technology Week and the 32nd Guangxi Science and Technology Week - Guangxi Advanced Technology Exhibition was held in Nanning. Five "hardcore" Power equipment, including the YCK05H hydrogen-fueled engine, Yuchai Xinlan tractor E-POWER electric drive continuously variable transmission powertrain, and Yuchai Xinlan range extender, have attracted much attention, showcasing the strength and charm of "Made in China" to the audience.

During this period, leaders such as LAN Tianli, the Chairperson of the Autonomous Region, Wang Weiping, a member of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region's Party Committee and Minister of Organization, and Bai Songtao, the Mayor of Yulin City, successively visited the Yuchai exhibition area to view the exhibits.

At present, hydrogen energy, with its inherent advantage of zero carbon emissions, has become an important way to achieve "carbon peak" and gradually reach "carbon neutrality". The YCK05H hydrogen-fueled engine on display this time is China's first hydrogen-fueled engine designed for urban buses, municipal services, sanitation, and logistics distribution. It has achieved zero carbon emissions by using advanced combustion and control technologies of internal combustion engines. It can fully utilize the original supply system and supporting technologies to serve the country's "dual carbon" strategy and is an important power device for large-scale and low-cost utilization of hydrogen energy.

The Yuchai Xinlan tractor E-POWER electric drive continuously variable transmission powertrain is the first domestically produced electric drive continuously variable transmission powertrain for tractors in China. This product adopts a highly integrated technical design, with the engine and motor coupled and integrated development. It can operate in dual modes of "field operation" and "road driving", with stepless speed regulation throughout the process. The efficiency of ploughing or rotary tillage operations in various regions is 15% to 35% higher than that of traditional tractors, and the maximum fuel savings exceed 30%. Moreover, it can be matched with an integrated control console, providing comfortable and convenient operation. It has led domestic agricultural machinery power towards large-scale, high-end and intelligent development.
