On September 5th, Yuchai held a high-quality development achievement exhibition titled "Innovation in Science and Technology and Quality for Strong Enterprises" in Yulin, comprehensively showcasing the cutting-edge technologies that ensure the quality and reliability of Yuchai products, and decoding how Yuchai builds reliable ace power. Technological innovation breaks through the "bottleneck" technologies and is the key to the sustainable development of enterprises. This exhibition is divided into two parts: the technology achievement exhibition and the reliability achievement exhibition.

The Technology achievement exhibition mainly showcases innovative achievements in hydrogen energy power such as hydrogen-fueled engines and fuel cells, as well as innovative achievements in agricultural and construction machinery power such as IE-power hybrid power, unmanned autonomous driving tractors, and the localization of engines for crawler excavators, MTU localization achievements, and technological innovation achievements such as ECU chip products and unmanned aerial vehicle engines. Comprehensive market support achievements for National VI and non-road National IV vehicle products.

Among them, MTU localization products are outstanding achievements of the cooperation between Yuchai and German MTU. The MTU localization project has successfully developed 100% localized products that meet MTU's technical standards by comprehensively benchmarking against the world's top manufacturing technologies for MTU diesel engine components. These products have been installed on Yuchai's high-speed engine products and have successfully entered domestic space launch sites, large data centers, power plants, hospitals, airports, commercial buildings, and public facilities, among other fields. It has achieved German standards and Chinese creation.

The unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with Yuchai YCUAV56 engine has attracted much attention. This type of engine is also currently the most commercially mass-produced heavy oil or gasoline aviation piston engine in China. In August, the first prototypes of two more powerful aero-powered engines were successfully ignited on Yuchai's new product test benches one after another. Since then, the product range of Yuchai's aero-engine series has added two new members, marking another solid step forward for Yuchai in the field of aero-power engines.

Based on years of accumulation in diesel engine technology, Yuchai has broken through key technologies such as anti-knock control for heavy oil combustion, increased reliability of heavy oil, and localization of Yuchai's independent ECU. It has conducted laboratory tests, tests under environmental simulation conditions, and in-flight tests in real environments on this engine, with over 2,000 hours of reliability testing to ensure product reliability. From the R&D process of this unmanned aerial vehicle engine product to the final product delivery, from R&D, manufacturing process development, supplier development, factory testing, etc., the entire process is controlled in accordance with Yuchai's quality management system, and adjusted and adapted in combination with the special requirements of aviation power products to fully meet the actual needs of customers.

The unmanned autonomous driving tractor on display at the site adopts the Yuchai Agricultural Machinery intelligent driving system, which can achieve intelligent control of functions such as straight-line driving, automatic U-turning, and machinery control of the tractor. This means that in the near future, the vast number of farmers will also be able to enjoy the convenience brought by driverless technology.

We carry out full-process reliability assurance and bring high-quality products centered on customers. The reliability achievement exhibition focuses on showcasing the entire process of power system research and development, manufacturing, and service, highlighting the remarkable achievements Yuchai has made in enhancing the reliability of power systems.

In the field of R&D, Yuchai has established multiple research laboratories such as NVH test rooms and hydrogen-burning engine test rooms, as well as a big data analysis room. Based on customer demands and leveraging Yuchai's advantages in the powertrain field, it collaborates with vehicle manufacturers for joint research and development, conducts thorough road tests, addresses the actual product application pain points of customers, and creates products that better meet customer needs.

In the manufacturing sector, Yuchai has national-level intelligent manufacturing demonstration projects. From the largest casting center in Asia to the machining and assembly workshop reaching the level of Germany's Industry 4.0, and through 11 years of practice in lean manufacturing, Yuchai has adopted a dual approach of both software and hardware to build leading manufacturing capabilities in the industry.

Service, as Yuchai's extremely strong "soft power", is also presented before everyone's eyes. Yuchai showcased the server-side big data and real-time status feedback system on site. This system enables us to quickly understand the service process and progress, further enhancing service efficiency and providing customers with all-round support.

In addition, Yuchai also invited typical users who have traveled over a million kilometers without major repairs to share their driving experiences on site. This user stated that the reason why his truck has not undergone major repairs for over a million kilometers is inseparable from the reliable support of Yuchai's top-grade power system.
