Yuchai's brand-new Black Diamond gas engine has been launched with great enthusiasm in Jinzhong

At this listing appreciation event, the ultra-light version of Yuchai LNG, the Changle H5, which is tailor-made for various complex working conditions of domestic LNG, made its official debut. Relying on the mature technology of Yuchai gas engines, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Chenglong once again leads the upgrade of logistics transportation equipment, focusing on "lightweight, efficient, safe and comfortable", bringing a brand-new value experience to resource transportation users and making resource transportation more profitable.

The newly launched Changle H5 ultra-light Yuchai LNG tractor is equipped with Yuchai's brand-new Black Diamond gas engine, which features higher reliability, better economy and superior quality. Key components such as the EGR cooler and exhaust pipe have been comprehensively upgraded. The maximum output power can reach 480 horsepower, the product reliability has been improved by 95%, and the B10 life has exceeded 1.8 million kilometers. By taking measures such as optimizing the combustion chamber and reducing the power consumption of the fan, compared with the same engine on the market, the power has increased by 4%, the gas consumption has decreased by 3%, the low-speed torque has significantly increased by 37%, the start-up acceleration is more powerful, the maximum torque has increased by 10%, and the frequency of gear shifting has been reduced, which can improve the driving comfort.

In addition, multiple measures have been taken in a progressive manner to address the condensation problem caused by excessive water after combustion due to the use of closed-loop circulation and EGR. Special development has been carried out to address the high thermal load of gas engines that meet the National VI emission standards, enhancing the reliability of the product and enabling it to easily handle various complex working conditions.

The Yuchai LNG of the Chonglong H5 Ultra-Light Edition has reduced the chassis weight to 8 tons through over 40 lightweight technologies such as "new materials, new structures, new processes, topology optimization, and functional integration", which is more than 300kg lighter than the mainstream products of the same configuration in the industry, perfectly achieving a reduction in the overall vehicle weight. Based on an annual operation of 200,000 kilometers and a freight rate of 0.3 yuan per ton-kilometer, the reduction in vehicle weight alone can increase the annual income by 18,000 yuan.

Jinzhong is an important regional transportation hub and logistics base in North China, and also a hub of the heavy-haul coal transportation network. The first landing of the Chonglong H5 ultra-light version of Yuchai LNG in Jinzhong is precisely in response to the efficient operation demands of Jinzhong users in logistics transportation, especially in resource transportation scenarios. At this press conference, both Yuchai and Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile announced preferential policies for vehicle orders. The Yuchai LNG, the ultra-light version of the Sinotruk H5, was launched for the first time and received a huge number of orders. A total of 695 units were placed on the spot, making it a true dark horse in the LNG heavy truck market.
