Dynamic gas mixing technology

The CAT® 3512B Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB™) generator set will be showcased at the 2021 CIPPE. This generator set adopts dynamic gas hybrid technology, meaning that the generator set can be driven by both diesel and gas fuels. It can automatically sense fuel gas and adjust the combustion ratio based on the quality of the fuel gas until the specified output power is met. The gas substitution rate can exceed 70%. Due to its high adaptability to gas, it can fully utilize the associated gas and well gas in the oil and gas drilling and production processes, thereby reducing waste and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

Caterpillar not only offers dual-fuel generator sets suitable for onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling and production as well as well services, but also provides modification kits for upgrading diesel generator sets to dual-fuel generator sets.

At this exhibition, the TH53 transmission will be on display, which is matched with the 3512C engine and can achieve a power of up to 2500hp. The TH53 is a lightweight design based on the TH55, better meeting the design requirements and weight demands of fracturing trucks.

In terms of after-sales service, in addition to warranty, extended warranty services and original factory parts, Caterpillar has also launched Value Treasure (CVA), which focuses on the full life cycle operation and maintenance service solution.
