There are methods such as using chainsaw chain grinding heads, chainsaw files, adjusting carburetors and checking filters to solve the problem of slow chaincutting of logging saws.

Use the chainsaw chain to grind the head

The chainsaw chain grinding head is made of diamond and emery materials, which can effectively remove the wear marks on the chain, restore the sharpness of the chain, and ensure the efficient operation of the woodcutting saw. Diamond grinding heads are suitable for removing heavier wear, while carborundum grinding heads are more appropriate for fine grinding. When in use, make sure the logging saw is completely turned off and cooled down. Start the grinding head to begin grinding. Be careful not to overgrind to avoid damaging the chain.

Use a chainsaw file

For cases where the saw teeth of the chain become blunt, a chainsaw file can be used for adjustment. For instance, the Xinggong chainsaw file is made of high-carbon steel, which can effectively sharpen the saw teeth and restore their sharpness. When in use, follow the direction of the cutting teeth, and the Angle between the tool and the chain should be approximately 30 degrees.

Check the carburetor and filter

If the machine doesn't work hard, it might be a problem with the cylinder and carburetor. The carburetor's rotational speed can be lowered to match the engine's output power. In addition, problems such as oil burning out on the chainsaw, insufficient power, and overheating of the machine are usually issues with the filter. Before use, check the filter. If it is not clean enough, wash it with soapy water, dry it and then use it
