Installation direction of the chain for the logging saw
The installation direction of the chain of a logging saw is an important detail, which directly affects the usage effect and safety of the logging saw. The correct installation direction should be that the cutting teeth of the chain face forward.
Precautions
When installing the chain of a logging saw, in addition to ensuring that the teeth are facing forward, the following points should also be noted:
Check the tension of the chain: The chain should neither be too loose nor too tight. If it is too loose, the chain may fall off during use or affect the cutting effect. If it is too tight, it will increase the wear of the chain and the guide plate, and may even cause the chain to break.
Ensure correct installation: After installation is completed, check again whether the chain is correctly installed in the sprocket and the guide plate groove, and whether the direction of the sawteeth is correct.
Adjust the tightness of the chain: Use tensioning screws to appropriately adjust the tightness of the chain. Check the tension of the chain by hand. When the hand force reaches 15-20N, the standard distance between the chain and the guide plate is about 2mm.
Safety precautions: During the installation process, be sure to wear thick protective gloves to prevent being cut by sharp chain blades
