The three reasons why pit diggers (excavators) are most prone to accidents include:
Operators lack awareness of danger prediction: Operators have little understanding of the working environment and potential dangers. For instance, they fail to anticipate the risk of landslides during quarrying in mountainous areas, or they are unaware of the ground pressure of the machine when working on the tidal flats by the river, which leads to the machine getting stuck in the silt
Before the operation, the on-site environment was not confirmed: Before the operation, the operator did not confirm the actual depth of the pond, the road conditions or the stability of the ground, resulting in accidents such as the machine overturning after entering the pond, the entire vehicle falling off the mountain or the ground collapsing
Mechanical failure and inadequate protective measures: If the machine wiring harness ages and is not replaced in time, or if the operation is improper during maintenance and upkeep, it is easy to cause fire accidents or mechanical injuries such as pinching and falling
