How to change the saw blade of a logging saw
Open the upper and lower protective doors of the saw head, manually loosen the fixing screws of the slide plate, and turn the lifting handwheel to lower the upper saw wheel until the old saw blade becomes loose. Hold the toothless and bladeless side of the saw blade with your hand, be careful not to hurt your fingers, and slowly take out the old saw blade.
Put the prepared new saw blade or the ground saw blade over the upper and lower saw wheels. Make sure the sharp Angle of the saw teeth is facing down and do not flip them up. Hold the saw blade gently with one hand. For large band saw machines, when necessary, two people work together. One holds the saw blade while the other turns the lifting handwheel to raise the upper saw wheel and tighten the saw blade.
After the saw blade is initially installed, you need to rotate the upper saw wheel by hand to see if all the saw teeth are exposed on the outer side of the saw wheel rim. If it is found that the saw teeth are not exposed, the upper saw wheel should be adjusted again until the saw teeth are exposed above the rim, and the movement is stable along the edges of the upper and lower saw wheels and is perpendicular to the worktable surface
