The use and maintenance of lawn mowing and flattening machines
I. User Guide
Connect the device
When not in use, the lawn mower and the tractor are stored separately. Before performing lawn mowing operations, the tractor needs to be connected to the lawn mower. The main connecting components include the traction frame, transmission shaft, hydraulic pipe and the transmission device of the cutting head indicator light.
Before connecting, start the tractor first and slowly reverse it. When the connection port at the rear of the tractor basically matches the interface of the lawn mower's traction frame, fix it with Angle iron. After confirming that the connection is firm, turn off the engine.
Then connect the transmission device of the drive shaft, the hydraulic pipe and the indicator light on the cutting table.
Operation preparation
Check the oil levels of the engine oil, hydraulic oil and bearing oil to ensure they reach the normal oil standards.
Check the tension of the chain and the pressing belt. According to the different growth conditions of different crops, adjust the flattening gap in accordance with the operation manual.
Inspect the grassland to be harvested, remove some obstacles and try to minimize the damage to the machinery during the operation.
Startup and Operation
There is a safety pin under the hydraulic lifting rod. When the lawn mower is in transportation, it must be pulled up to prevent the hydraulic lifting rod from falling automatically due to gravity and damaging the machine. Before the lawn mower changes from the transportation state to the working state, the safety pin of the hydraulic lifting rod should be lowered before operation.
There is a power control lever in the cab, located on the left side of the driver's seat, which is used to control the universal joint drive shaft. Pull up the power control lever, the universal joint drive shaft starts, and the cutting table rotates. Press the power control lever, the universal joint drive shaft stops, and the operation of the cutting table stops.
Start the tractor, pull up the power control lever. After the header starts to operate, push the control lever forward. The hydraulic telescopic pipe will expand and the lawn mower will lower, putting the lawn mower and flattening machine in working condition.
Harvesting walking route
The lawn mower and flattening machine enters from a corner of the grassland to start harvesting. The tractor moves forward along one side of the grassland, and the lawn mower on the right side cuts out a row of grass beds.
Usually, the tractor enters from the left side of the plot first. After reaching the end, it turns right and continues along the next side. The tractor moves clockwise along the edge of the grassland once. The lawn mower on the right rear side is right next to the tractor and cuts out a circle of grass. At this time, there is a circle of uncut grass left on the outermost side of the grassland.
During the second lap of the operation, the tractor rode forward on the grass mat cut from the first lap.
Ii. Maintenance Tutorial
Daily cleaning
After each use, remove the grass debris from the chassis and check if the blades are damaged or worn.
Regular maintenance
Grind or replace the blade and lubricate the bearing every 50 hours.
Change the engine oil quarterly (for fuel-powered models).
Regularly check the tension of the drive shaft, chain and belt, and make adjustments or replacements if necessary.
Long-term storage
When storing in winter, drain the fuel and disconnect the battery.
Store the equipment in a dry and well-ventilated place to prevent rust and damage.
Troubleshooting and Repair
If abnormal vibration occurs, the machine should be stopped immediately to check the balance of the blade.
In case of grass debris blockage, use a dedicated cleaning hook for operation.
If the device gives an overheating alarm, turn off the power and let it cool down naturally for 30 minutes before checking again.
