Three-step oil change mnemonic for gasoline lawn mowers
Drain the old oil: Make sure the lawn mower is shut down and cooled down, then turn off the fuel switch and the engine. Locate the oil level gauge or the oil level observation window and check the oil level. Use the appropriate tool to unscrew the oil pan screw, carefully pour out the old engine oil, and catch the old engine oil with the oil pan. Retighten the oil pan screws and add new oil: Prepare new engine oil, usually using special engine oil. For specific types, refer to the lawn mower's user manual. Open the oil pan screw, pour in the new engine oil first until it reaches above the lowest mark, and then gradually add it as needed to ensure the oil level is between the lowest and highest marks. Inspection and testing: Tighten the oil pan screw, start the lawn mower and run it for a few minutes to check if the oil pressure is normal and listen for any abnormal sounds. If everything is normal, the engine oil of the lawn mower has been successfully replaced
