Nowadays, small excavators generally have multiple functions such as digging, crushing, trenching, drilling and pushing earth. They can quickly replace accessories, greatly improving the utilization rate of the machines.

Today, let's take a look at several common auxiliary working devices for excavators together.

1. Quick connector

The quick coupling machine, also known as the quick coupling or quick conversion coupling, is specifically designed to quickly switch between the breaker hammer (or other equipment) and the bucket.

A skilled operator can switch attachments in no more than 30 seconds. In the past, without quick connectors, it would take 40 to 60 minutes for two or more people to change equipment.

2. Breaker

The breaker hammer, also known as the hydraulic breaker, is called the cannon head in the south. It is mainly used for the mining of ores in mines and the demolition of concrete.

The power source of the hydraulic breaker is the pressure oil provided by the pump station of the excavator or loader. It can more effectively clear the floating stones and soil in the crevices of rocks during the process of excavating the foundation of buildings.

3. Hydraulic shears

Hydraulic shears, also known as hydraulic pliers, are mainly used in the demolition of buildings and are much more efficient than breakers.

4. Soil loosening tool

The soil loosening device, also known as the soil splitting device, is mainly used in the construction of weathered rock. It is particularly useful for layering working conditions. It is difficult to dig with a bucket and a bit easy and wasteful to break with a breaker. At this time, using a soil loosening device will greatly improve the construction efficiency. First, use the soil loosening device to separate the soil layer or weathered rock layer, and then use a quick connector to switch the bucket and load it onto the vehicle.

5. Wood grabber

The wood grabber, also known as the wood clamping machine, is divided into hydraulic wood grabbers and mechanical wood grabbers. Hydraulic wood grabbers are further classified into hydraulic rotary wood grabbers and fixed wood grabbers.

The wood gripper, after the redesign and modification of its claws, can be used to pick up stones and scrap steel. It is mainly used for grasping wood and bamboo, and it is very fast and convenient for loading and unloading vehicles.

6. Hydraulic tamper

The hydraulic tamper, also known as the vibrating tamper or compactor, features high tamping efficiency, good reliability, high degree of automation, low pollution and low energy consumption.

It has played a significant role in construction fields such as highway subgrade compaction, subgrade density and strength testing instruments, cement pavement recycling, airport and dam construction.

7. Spiral drilling rig

The screw drill rig is mainly used for garden beautification, well drilling, tree planting pit drilling, coal sampling, foundation column drilling, deep pit well drilling for bridge columns, deep hole drilling for wind turbine columns, and hole (hole) drilling for electric poles.

With the increase in labor costs and the rising demands for construction quality and efficiency, the low-cost, high-efficiency and professional construction method of "excavating machinery + attachments" will be increasingly recognized by more and more end users.
