What should I do if the air conditioner in the crane operation room doesn't cool as the weather gets warmer?

1. The air conditioner only blows air but does not cool

Many people ask why the air conditioner doesn't cool when the crane experiences summer for the first time. These people are usually "ordered" to go back and read the manual carefully after asking these questions without any inspection measures. Only when the "A/C" on the control panel is turned on does it indicate that the air conditioner is turned on, but they did not press that button.

2. The air conditioner's cooling effect is not good

After confirming that the steps of turning on the air conditioner are indeed correct, but the air conditioner still doesn't feel cold, first check if the air conditioner belt is loose. If there is no problem, then check if the refrigerant (also known as Freon or snow medium) is insufficient. If there is also no problem, then check the circuit. If the circuit is also fine, clean the internal and external circulation of the evaporator and the air conditioner filter.

3. The air volume of the air conditioner is small

First, check the air conditioning filter to see if it is clogged. Also, the air intake might be blocked by debris being sucked in. The filter element is located at the inlet of the air conditioning duct. It is flat and made of paper. Most of the time, no air comes out because the filter element is clogged. If there's no place to buy it, use an air gun to blow it down first. If that doesn't work, remove the motor, plug it in, turn on the fan, and test each speed one by one. If the speed doesn't change, it's mostly because the variable resistor is broken.

The air conditioning filter is installed at the inlet of the internal circulation air duct of the air conditioning refrigeration unit in the driver's cabin. If the filter is clogged, it will affect the air volume or no air will be blown out at all.

4. When the air conditioner is on, all I hear is the fan's noise, but no air comes out

This is a common problem of unsophisticated driver machines. The operation room was extremely dirty, and the air ducts were in tatters, so much so that dust and shredded paper were sucked into the evaporator by the fan. The evaporator was piled up with a thick layer of dust and impurities, which made it impossible to draw in air and thus unable to blow out air. First, turn on the machine and check. If the compressor can run, it indicates that the system pressure is basically normal. There is no other way but to release the cold air. Note that cold air can be recycled. When releasing the air conditioner, do not be impatient. Release it slowly from the low-pressure side of the meter, then disassemble the air conditioning system for cleaning and cleaning. After reinstalling it, evacuate the air and add cold air to solve the problem.

5. Just after adding the refrigerant, it was initially cooled, but after an hour or so, warm air was turned on

First, check the electrical appliances. If they are in good condition, it's best to measure the pressure with a pressure gauge. The high pressure is usually 16 or 7 kilograms, and the low pressure is generally 2 or 3 kilograms. If there is no Freon, the clutch of the compressor will not engage. If there is Freon, check if there is ice blockage or dirt blockage. If the pipe is broken, check it with soapy water.

6. Driving the car with the air conditioner on

Most likely, it is due to insufficient engine horsepower, resulting in a decrease in engine output power, which is not enough to drive the air conditioner. It could also be caused by a mismatch between the power of the hydraulic pump and that of the engine. The power of a general air conditioner accounts for one-tenth of that of an engine. Solutions: Increase the engine power or reduce the power of the pump, and press the accelerator a little harder when using the air conditioner. Also, check the air filter and wood filter.
