SMHDA's demand for 4.3 million tons of sand and gravel! Three new expressways will be built in Hunan and Anhui
In the second half of 2022, the construction plan for expressways was carried out in an orderly manner. Highway planning and construction units in various regions were all enhancing their work efficiency and striving to make up for the progress affected by the epidemic in the first half of the year in the second half. Recently, the bidding and tendering work for the construction of three more expressways in Hunan and Anhui provinces has been completed. The projects will be launched soon and are expected to bring a demand of 4.3 million yuan for sand and gravel to the two regions.
Hunan: From Liuyang to Jiangbei, from the Chating Interchange of Xuguang Expressway to Changsha Ring Expressway
I. Project Overview
(1) Liuyang to Jiangbei Expressway The starting point of the route is located at Chayuanwan (where it intersects with the Liuhong Expressway at K16+716), and it adopts a hub interchange with the Liuhong Expressway to achieve traffic conversion. It goes westward through Maoping and Taipingqiao, and an interchange is set up at Taipingqiao to connect with S207. It then passes through Zhoujiawan, Zhangjiawuchang, and Hejiawuchang, and an interchange is set up at Gejia to connect with S207. It crosses the Pingru Expressway on Zaigongpo. It connects smoothly with the under-construction Jiangbei to Ganshan Expressway at Hengchongli and forms a double-horn hub interchange with the existing single-horn interchange. The route is 25.644 kilometers long. Main control points: Chayuanwan, Taipingqiao, Gejia, Jinyuan, Hengchongli. The entire line is constructed to the standard of a two-way four-lane expressway, with a designed speed of 100km/h, a roadbed width of 26 meters, and a total main line length of 25.644 kilometers. An additional connecting line of approximately 2.6 kilometers will be set up, with a total investment of about 4.263 billion yuan and a demand for 1.53 million tons of sand and gravel.
(2) From Chating Interchange of Xuguang Expressway to Changsha Ring Expressway: The route starts 1 kilometer south of the Chating Interchange on the Xuguang Expressway (Yuewang section), runs southeastward, passes through the south side of Chating Town, crosses Furong North Road at Chenjiachong, reaches the north side of Qiaoyi Town, crosses the Shahe River and the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway at Changhuzhou, sets up a tunnel at Shenshenling, intersects with Qingzhuhu Road at Guangsheng Bridge, and then builds an elevated bridge along the existing Zhongqing Road to the Laodaohe Interchange on the Ring Expressway. It connects with the Changsha Ring Expressway. The entire line is designed and constructed to the standard of a two-way six-lane expressway, with a designed speed of 120km/h, a roadbed width of 34 meters, and a total length of approximately 22.773 kilometers. The total investment is 4.82114 billion yuan, and the demand for sand and gravel is 1.36 million tons.
