The requirements for inspection and repair of the half-shaft sleeve are as follows:

1) If the bearing journal of the half-shaft sleeve is worn beyond the allowable value, it can be chrome-plated or vibratory overlay welded and then machined for repair.

2) If the thread of the end tightening nut of the half-shaft sleeve is damaged by more than 2 teeth, it should be repaired.

3) After the oil seal journal of the half-shaft sleeve is worn, it can be repaired by fitting the oil seal journal.
