What components does the forklift working device consist of?

The working device of the work mechanism is the part of the forklift that is responsible for the loading and unloading operations. It bears the entire load and performs operations such as picking up, lifting, lowering and positioning of the goods. It is one of the important components of the forklift.

The inner mast is located on the inner side of the outer mast. The upper crossbeam is equipped with a lifting sprocket. On the outer wall of the inner mast, there are longitudinal and lateral rollers for rolling within the outer mast to reduce the resistance of movement.

The lifting chain passes over the lifting sprocket on the inner mast and is fixed at one end to the crossbeam of the outer mast and connected to the forklift at the other end. When the piston rod of the lifting cylinder rises, the inner mast and the fork frame can lift the goods.

The basic type of the forklift mast is a two-stage mast. The arrangement forms of the inner and outer masts include overlapping, parallel and integrated types. The upright column of the outer mast is generally in a trough shape and can be formed and welded from steel sections. The outer mast plays a role in guiding the movement of the inner mast, and its two parallel upright columns are firmly welded together by the upper, middle and bottom plates.

The upright column of the inner mast is of trough-shaped, I-shaped or special-shaped steel structure. Its two parallel upright columns are firmly welded together by the upper and lower crossbeams.
