I. Transmission Maintenance

The gearbox should be cleaned at least once every quarter. The cleaning should be carried out while it is hot. Drain the lubricating oil from the box, fill it with kerosene, and let the transmission run at low speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Then stop the machine, drain the kerosene completely, clean the oil plug and screw it back onto the transmission. After that, add new lubricating oil until the oil level reaches the mark line on the dipstick.

2. Use 20 # gear oil for the transmission.

3. It is necessary to frequently inspect and adjust the positioning devices of the variable speed control mechanism and the reversing mechanism to keep the gears in the appropriate position and prevent disengagement accidents.

4. It is necessary to frequently check the leakage at each sealing point of the transmission. If the sealing parts are damaged, they should be replaced in time.

5. Regularly check the connecting bolts between the gearbox and the frame. Tighten them if necessary to prevent them from loosening or falling off.

Ii. Maintenance of Hydraulic Systems

1. Check whether the installation bolts of the filter, valve, motor, oil pump, cylinder, etc. are loose and whether there is any oil leakage at each joint.

2. Observe the oil level gauge on the side of the oil tank. When the hydraulic oil is too little, add the same grade of filtered hydraulic oil.

3. The hydraulic oil tank should be cleaned and the oil changed every six months. When adding or changing the oil, be extremely careful not to mix impurities or dirt into the tank. The new oil added or changed must be filtered out in advance.

4. Use 68 # anti-wear hydraulic oil for the hydraulic oil.

The hydraulic oil filter should be cleaned or the filter element replaced every 500 hours of use.

Iii. Maintenance of Vibrating Wheels

The lubricating oil of the vibrating wheel should be replaced every 1000 hours. Check at any time whether there is any leakage of the lubricating oil of the vibrating wheel. When changing the oil, pay attention to cleanliness. Use CD grade 30 diesel engine oil as the lubricating oil.

2. For the lubrication and maintenance of the walking bearings, after an average of 20 days of use of the entire machine, an adequate amount of calcium-based grease should be added to the corresponding oil cup position.

Iv. Maintenance of the Main Clutch

In addition to constantly adjusting its control mechanism, the main clutch should also be inspected and adjusted to ensure that the ends of its three release rods are in the same plane and maintain a certain gap (0.4 to 0.7 millimeters) with the release bearing.

2. When engaging and disengaging the main clutch, it should be done smoothly and gently. During operation, it is essential to prevent the clutch from being in a semi-engaged and semi-engaged state to avoid burning out the clutch.

3. Regularly inspect the main clutch to prevent oil stains from adhering to the surfaces of the friction plates and pressure plates.

V. Side Drive Maintenance

1. Transmission is prone to contamination by dust, sand and mud. It is necessary to frequently check its lubrication condition, regularly remove dirt from the gears and apply a new layer of calcium-based grease.

Vi. Battery Maintenance

If a storage battery is not used properly, there will be a phenomenon where the voltage is extremely high during charging and extremely low during discharging, and white "acid salts" can be found outside the plates. Batteries that have been acidified can be restored to normal after being charged 1-2 times with a relatively small current for mild cases.

2. Use an acid hydrometer to check the charge condition of the battery pack to see if the battery is fully charged.

Under normal conditions, the generator of a diesel engine is sufficient to fully charge the battery. However, in winter, the battery pack should be kept fully charged frequently to prevent freezing.

4. To prevent the battery electrodes from hardening and forming sulfuric acid scale, the battery should not be in a discharged state for more than 24 hours. Even if it is not used for a while after being fully charged, it should be charged once a week until sufficient bubbles are released inside the battery.

5. The surface of the battery must be kept clean at all times. If there is dust or electrolyte leakage, it is best to wipe it clean with a cloth soaked in ammonium chloride alcohol or 10% ammonium sulfate solution.
