Maintenance
What should loaders do when the rainy season comes
First, when working in the rain, one needs to be fully concentrated. When pushing and shoveling materials, the accelerator should be gently pressed.
Due to the slippery road surface in rainy days, if the loader is not operated properly during operation, it is very likely to cause the wheels to slip. When the bucket is unable to load materials, do not step on the accelerator harder. The harder you press the accelerator, the more severe the wheel slippage will be. This not only fails to improve work efficiency but also causes damage to the machine. If necessary, shift into reverse gear and load one more time to avoid unnecessary damage to the tires.
Second, when working in rainy weather, anti-skid chains need to be installed on the tires.
Because the roads in mountain stone mines or construction sites are mostly muddy and dirt, many sharp pebbles and other debris beneath the road surface are exposed after being washed by rain. If tires skid, roll over or rub against gravel for a long time, they are very likely to be scratched and worn out.
Therefore, anti-skid chains need to be installed on the loader tires to increase the safety factor of the tires. However, anti-skid chains must not be installed when the tire pressure is insufficient. It is also necessary to pay attention to choosing anti-skid chains that match the size of the wheel hub and wheel width. The traveling speed of the loader with anti-skid chains installed should not be too fast, and sudden acceleration or deceleration should be avoided to prevent damage to the anti-skid chains.
Thirdly, when parking the loader during the rainy season, try to keep the machine body dry.
The parking of loaders during the rainy season is also particularly important. It is best to park them in the garage and try to avoid parking them in overly humid environments. The chassis of the loader should be cleaned and dried to prevent some parts from rusting.
When parked outdoors, first check whether the fuel tank and hydraulic tank covers are tightly closed to prevent rainwater from seeping into the tanks and causing unnecessary trouble.
Secondly, it is necessary to prevent rainwater from entering the filter element of the air filter of the loader, which may cause the paper filter element to deteriorate, be damaged and get clogged.
Secondly, check the wear of the sealing ring on the engine oil dipstick. If necessary, cover it with a waterproof cloth bag. To prevent rainwater from seeping into the engine oil due to excessive wear of the sealing ring.
In addition, during the rainy season, when the loader is working at night, it is necessary to ensure the normal operation of the front and rear headlights, work lights, top lights, instrument lights, wipers, etc. of the loader to guarantee safety.
