First of all, strictly abide by the tire inflation standards. After inflation, check whether each part is leaking air and regularly check the tire pressure to ensure it meets the standards. Form the habit of measuring air pressure with a barometer and do not judge it with the naked eye. Ensure that the tires have a certain degree of elasticity, so that when they are subjected to the specified load, their deformation does not exceed the prescribed range, and guarantee that the equipment has good stability and comfort during operation. The spare tire should be inflated relatively high to prevent it from running off over time.

Secondly, it is necessary to correctly select and install tires, and use the corresponding inner tubes according to the tire specifications. Tires assembled on the same machinery should ensure the same brand, the same structure and the same performance. If this cannot be achieved, tires of the same brand, specification, pattern and type should be installed on the same axle. When replacing new tires, it is necessary to replace the entire vehicle or the same type of tires at the same time. Directional tread tires should be installed in accordance with the specified rolling direction. When changing to new tires, the new tires should be installed on the front wheels and the repaired tires on the rear wheels. To ensure driving safety, retreaded tires are not allowed to be used as steering wheels (front wheels).

3. Regularly rotate the tires. After the equipment has been in operation for a period of time, the fatigue and wear degrees of the front and rear tires will be different. Therefore, they should be swapped in a timely manner as per regulations. There are two methods for changing tires: the cross method and the cycle method. The cross-transposition method is suitable for construction machinery and equipment that frequently travel on roads with a large arch, while the cyclic transposition method is suitable for equipment that frequently travel on relatively flat roads.

4. It is also necessary to control the temperature of the tires. During the operation of construction machinery, the tires generate heat due to friction and deformation, causing the temperature and air pressure inside the tires to rise. When the tire temperature is very high, the method of deflating to reduce pressure should not be adopted, and even less should water be poured on the tire to cool it down, as this may accelerate the damage to the tire. You should park and rest in a shady place. Do not continue driving until the tire temperature drops. When stopping the equipment during the journey and arriving at the site, it is necessary to develop the habit of safely gliding when parking. When parking, choose a flat, clean and oil-free ground. Each tire should land smoothly. Especially overnight, it is necessary to pay more attention to choosing a good parking location. If necessary, lift the rear wheel. When the equipment is out of use for a long time, wooden blocks should be used to support the frame to reduce the load on the tires. When the tires have no air pressure, they should not be parked on the spot. Instead, the wheels should be lifted.

5. Tires should be kept away from sunlight, oil, acids, flammable materials and chemical corrosive substances. All tires should be stored in a cool, dry and dark indoor area. Tires should be placed upright and it is strictly prohibited to lay them flat, stack them or hang them in a string. The storage period shall not exceed three years. If inner tubes need to be stored separately, they should be filled with an appropriate amount of air and must not be folded, placed flat or stacked. When not stored separately, it should be placed in the outer tire and inflated appropriately.
