Analysis of Maintenance and Care Methods for the Mechanical Parts of Cranes
1. Maintenance of motors and reducers
Regularly check the temperature of the motor housing and bearing parts, as well as the noise and vibration of the motor for any abnormal phenomena.
Under frequent start-up conditions, due to the low rotational speed, the ventilation and cooling capacity is reduced, and the current is relatively large, causing the motor temperature to rise rapidly. Therefore, it should be noted that the motor temperature rise must not exceed the upper limit value specified in its manual.
Adjust the brake in accordance with the requirements of the motor's user manual.
The daily maintenance of the reducer can refer to the user manual provided by the manufacturer. The anchor bolts of the reducer should be frequently inspected to ensure that the connection is not loose.
2. Lubrication of the walking device
When used for the first time, the vent cap of the reducer should be opened first to ensure good ventilation and reduce the internal pressure. Before starting work, it is necessary to check whether the height of the lubricating oil level in the reducer meets the requirements. If it is lower than the normal oil level, the same type of lubricating oil should be added in time.
The bearings of each wheel of the walking mechanism have been filled with sufficient grease (calcium-based grease) during assembly and do not require daily oiling. Grease can be replenished once every two months through the oil injection hole or by opening the bearing cover. The grease should be disassembled, cleaned and replaced once a year.
Apply grease to the meshing points of each open gear once a week.
3. Maintenance and upkeep of the hoist assembly
Regularly observe the oil window of the reducer and check whether the oil level of the lubricating oil is within the specified range. When it is lower than the specified oil level, lubricating oil should be replenished in time.
When the crane is not used frequently and the sealing condition and usage environment are good, the lubricating oil in the reducer should be replaced every six months. When the usage environment is harsh, it should be replaced every quarter. When water is found in the box or there is always foam on the oil surface and it is confirmed that the oil has deteriorated, the oil should be changed immediately. When changing the oil, strictly follow the oil type specified in the reducer's user manual. It is strictly forbidden to mix different types of oil.
Grease should be added to the bearing seats at both ends of the drum every two days. Grease should be applied to the surface of the drum and the steel wire rope as needed. The rolling bearings of the fixed and movable pulley blocks should be replenished with grease once a month.
Lubricating oil should be added to the moving shafts of each connecting rod of the brake once a week.
