Deep in the folds of the magnificent and perilous karst landforms in Guangxi

Deep in the folds of the magnificent and perilous karst landforms in Guangxi, a profound dialogue between industrial civilization and the power of nature is unfolding. The core task is to transport the large wind turbine components, each weighing over 20 tons and the entire vehicle weighing over 180 tons, along a rugged mountain road with a total length of over 60 kilometers and a maximum slope of more than 20 degrees, to the summit. Such harsh working conditions pose an almost extreme test to the power performance, stability and load-bearing capacity of the equipment.

Facing this severe challenge, the two large-tonnage loaders of Shantui, L76-G and L98K-G, rose to the challenge and carried out in-depth practice of reshaping the value chain of mine efficiency. It has a profound insight into the changing needs of customers, reconstructs the human-machine operation experience, innovates the core technical logic, and provides a powerful answer through scenario-based innovation.

Among them, the L98K-G stands out for its high efficiency, energy conservation and heavy-load stability, thus becoming a solid pillar of the project. The "Weichai engine +ZF310 dual transformer +ZF3125 wet axle" golden power chain it is equipped with not only achieves efficient transmission and ultra-low noise, but also brings about significant energy savings of over 15%. With an operating weight of up to 33,000kg and a powerful traction force of 286kN, it is endowed with abundant power reserves, ensuring strong and stable heavy-load operations. With a rated load of 9.5 tons and an ultra-long endurance, it continuously ensures the efficient operation of loading operations.

An experienced loader operator with over ten years of experience at the scene sincerely praised: "This L98K-G has been operated by me since it entered the factory. For more than half a year, it has been responsible for the traction of the wind farm. Its powerful performance, flexible control and riding comfort are impressive and perfectly meet the strict requirements of the project!"

The L76-G hydraulic loader, specially developed for heavy-duty mining conditions, is hailed as the "wind power traction wonder" for its outstanding cost performance and powerful towing capabilities. With a rated load capacity of 7 tons, it takes into account the economy of both loose materials and light-load operations. Its hardcore configuration includes an operating weight of 24.8 tons, a wheelbase of 3.55 meters, and a standard 5-cubic-meter sand and gravel hopper. The first gear with a large speed ratio design can generate a maximum traction force of up to 220kN, providing strong digging power. The 2380mm widened track effectively extends the service life of the main support bearings of the wheel hub. Combined with 26.5-25 vacuum large tires, it significantly enhances the overall load-bearing capacity of the machine and its passability on complex terrains.

These characteristics make it perform particularly well in the traction of large components in wind power. The person in charge of the Sanjiang Hongyanshan Wind Power Project highly affirmed: "The Shantui L76-G has outstanding traction performance and exceptional climbing ability." Its efficiency far exceeds that of traditional equipment. Two of them can replace five 5-ton class loaders, significantly reducing labor and fuel costs. Choosing Shantui L76-G was a wise strategic decision for our project.

Looking ahead, Shantui will continue to deepen its research and application innovation in the extreme working conditions of mines, and is committed to providing customers with more efficient, lower-cost and more sustainable overall solutions for mine construction, constantly creating value that exceeds expectations, and writing a new chapter of the coexistence of industrial power and nature.
