What are the requirements for the inspection and repair of forklift half shafts?
The requirements for the inspection and repair of half shafts are:
The bending of the half bearing should not exceed 0.5mm. If it does, cold pressing correction should be carried out.
2. The flange plane of the half shaft should be perpendicular to the axis. The inspection of its circular runout is usually carried out on a lathe by pressing a dial indicator against the inner plane edge of the flange for measurement. When the circular runout error is greater than 0.15mm, the inner plane of the flange should be ground first for correction.
When the key teeth of the half shaft are worn, the fit clearance with the keyway inside the half shaft gear is greater than 0.75mm, or the torsion of the key teeth of the half shaft is greater than 1mm, they should be replaced.
When the wear of the half shaft key teeth exceeds 0.2mm, they can be repaired by surfacing welding. It can also be repaired by local replacement.
