The method of mowing grass with a lawn mower
Preparations before mowing the lawn: Thoroughly inspect the area where the lawn mower will work, removing all stones, bones, branches, wires and all other items that can be picked up to prevent them from being thrown out and injuring the staff or others during the operation of the lawn mower. Work shoes, work clothes and protective glasses must be worn to prevent accidental injuries during the operation of the lawn mower. Before starting a gasoline engine, all sources of ignition must be extinguished and the fuel level maintained. As gasoline is flammable, it must not be added during the operation of a gasoline engine or within two minutes of its shutdown. After refueling, carefully wipe off the spilled gasoline and then start the engine. Before mowing the lawn, the height of the lawn mower should be designed properly. During the mowing process, the mowing height is not allowed to be adjusted. There is water on the lawn. The machine is not allowed to be turned on to prevent the operator from slipping or getting injured. For lawns that need to be mowed, the slope should be checked. If the slope is greater than 15°, mowing operations shall not be carried out on that slope
Key points of operation: When mowing the grass, set the throttle valve to the "fast" position, then press the button on the ROTO-STOP control lever and push the control lever forward. The blade mechanism will then mesh with the engine and start working. When operating the "Run - Stop" control lever, the action should be quick and complete to ensure that the blade mechanism is fully engaged with the engine; otherwise, it will affect the service life of the machine. Push the clutch control lever forward, and the lawn mower will automatically move forward. Adjusting the speed selection handle can control the forward speed of the lawn mower. Before mowing the lawn, all the obstacles that can be cleared on the lawn should be removed first to avoid damaging the blades due to improper operation. When it is felt that the blade may be damaged, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and repair
Adjustment of the mowing height: The adjustment of the mowing height should be carried out after the engine and the blade have completely stopped running. When pruning, the 1/3 principle should be followed, that is, the height of each pruning should not exceed one-third of the height of the grass. For messy, uneven or overly vigorous lawns, when mowing, the first mowing height should be set at a higher position, and then reduced to a suitable height for the second mowing. This way, it is less likely to cause blockages and the mowed lawn will be flat and beautiful
Maintenance of lawn mowers: After each lawn mowing, the throttle should be turned off in time, and the external parts and air filter should be cleaned once. Check the usage condition of the blade. If it is severely damaged, it needs to be ground at a 30-degree Angle. Assist technicians in applying grease or engine oil to the screws of each part of the lawn mower once a month
