I. Requirements for Operating Environment

Ventilation and heat dissipation

The self-priming high-pressure pump should be placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent the motor from burning out due to overheating.

After use in cold winter, the accumulated water in the pump should be drained (such as by removing the bottom plug for drainage) to prevent cracking due to freezing. Antifreeze can be injected when conditions permit.

Medium cleanliness

Clean water should be used for water supply, and a filter should be installed on the water inlet pipe to prevent foreign objects from being sucked in and damaging the pump body.

Pipe connection

Make sure all the pipeline valves are open so that the medium can flow into the pump inlet and all the air in the system can be discharged.

Ii. Operating Norms

Pre-startup inspection

Check the oil level of the crankcase lubricating oil (the oil level must not be lower than or higher than the marked line by 5mm), and confirm that the power supply voltage is stable.

Check the water level in the high-pressure pump body (for self-priming pumps, ensure there is sufficient water) to avoid idling and damaging the shaft seal components.

Confirm that the spray direction is safe and there are no people or obstacles blocking it.

Operation parameter control

It is strictly prohibited to operate beyond the rated pressure, flow rate and rotational speed. For example, the instantaneous maximum pressure must not exceed 110% of the rated pressure.

When adjusting the pressure, operate slowly and use a safety relief valve for regulation to avoid equipment damage caused by sudden pressure changes.

Shutdown steps

First, open the safety relief valve to relieve pressure. Wait until the pressure gauge returns to zero before turning off the motor.

After the pump is shut down in winter, it can be left idle for 2 minutes to further drain the water and prevent freezing.

Iii. Maintenance and Care

Regular inspection

Maintenance should be carried out once every six months to check for leaks in the seals and pipe connections, and to clean the filter screen and cooling system.

Clean the air filter every month and replace the oil filter every 200 to 300 hours (adjust as needed).

Lubricating oil replacement

Change the lubricating oil after the initial 50 hours of use, and then every 500 hours thereafter. Long-term disuse treatment

After draining the accumulated water, store it in a dry and well-ventilated place. Apply grease to key parts for rust prevention and add lubricating oil to the bearings.

During the idle period, disconnect the power supply, remove the positive terminal of the battery, and ensure that the carburetor is free of oil.

Iv. Safety Protection

Personal protective equipment

When operating, wear gloves, safety helmets and goggles to prevent injury from high-pressure water or foreign objects splashing.

Electrical safety

Make sure the electrical neutral (ground) wire is firmly and reliably connected to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Do not operate in a closed room to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning from engine emissions.

Emergency situation handling

If overpressure is detected, immediately cut off the power supply. Once the water level returns to normal, notify the hydraulic press to shut down.

In case of pipeline leakage or valve failure, immediately stop the machine and close the relevant valves, and hang a "Do Not Operate" warning sign.

V. Precautions for Special Scenarios

Winter frost prevention

After use, drain the accumulated water in the pump. You can further remove the water by idling for 2 minutes or blowing with air.

Before starting in the morning, check the smoothness of the pipes to avoid damage caused by blind opening.

Forest fire-fighting high-pressure pump

Before use, check the engine oil and pump body oil levels to ensure that the protective housing is installed properly.

Maintenance should be carried out after continuous operation for 50 hours, and then the gear oil (grade 80-90W or above) should be replaced every 100 hours.
