What are the usage precautions for heat pump dryers
I. Installation and Placement
Environmental requirements
Install on a dry, well-ventilated flat ground away from heat sources and direct sunlight to avoid damage to electrical components caused by a damp environment.
Flammable gases must not be stored near the equipment. Ensure a safe distance (such as at least 20 centimeters from the wall) to prevent heat dissipation from being blocked.
The extension of the drainage pipe shall not exceed 5 meters, and the pipe opening shall be 20 centimeters lower than the ground to avoid poor drainage.
Horizontal and fixed
The equipment should be installed horizontally with an inclination Angle not exceeding 45 degrees. It is strictly prohibited to install it upside down (with an internal compressor). If placed on its side or upside down, it should be laid flat and left to stand for 5 to 10 hours before being turned on.
Regularly check whether the base fixing bolts and the connection of the support springs are loose, and tighten them in time.
Ii. Preparations Before Operation
Power supply and circuit inspection
Make sure the power cord is securely connected and the voltage is stable (the power supply standard is usually 3N-380V-5Hz, with an allowable range of 342V-418V).
Check if the power cord is damaged or aged to avoid the risk of leakage or short circuit.
Inspection of equipment appearance and components
Check whether the casing and the air inlet and outlet are damaged or blocked to ensure smooth ventilation.
Clean the dust on the air inlet filter screen to prevent a decline in heat exchange efficiency. When cleaning, directly remove the dust-proof net and clean the finned heat exchanger with a soft brush or cotton cloth to prevent water from entering the electrical components.
Material preparation
Select appropriate trays or mesh racks based on the characteristics of the materials and spread them evenly (for example, the thickness of wolfberries should be no more than 2 centimeters, and leave sufficient space for clothes).
Make sure the materials can be dried (avoid materials such as silk and cashmere that cannot be dried). Metal accessories should be placed on the reverse side to prevent the inner cylinder from being scratched.
Iii. Parameter Setting and Operation Monitoring
Temperature and time Settings
Adjust the temperature according to the materials: 60℃ for shiitake mushrooms, 40℃ for silk clothes, 8-10 hours for dried fruits, and 4-5 hours for cotton clothes.
Initially, increase the wind speed to accelerate water evaporation, and later reduce it to prevent excessive drying.
Operation status monitoring
After startup, observe the sound of the equipment (normal operation is smooth; if there is an abnormal "click" sound, stop the machine for inspection).
Regularly check the parameters on the control panel (temperature, humidity, compressor status, etc.) to ensure they fluctuate within the normal range.
When running for a long time or drying materials with high moisture content, discharge the grain for 20 to 30 minutes every 2 hours to prevent the materials from arching.
Iv. Handling of Anomalies During Operation
Abnormal sounds or odors
Stop the machine immediately, turn off the power supply, and check whether it is caused by improper placement of the pallet, loose components or material blockage.
Abnormal temperature
If the temperature rises or drops sharply, check for equipment malfunctions or whether the materials are stacked evenly. Make adjustments and then restart.
Electrical fault
When dangerous phenomena such as burnt smell or flash fire are detected, stop the machine immediately and contact professional maintenance personnel. Do not disassemble it by yourself.
V. Shutdown and Maintenance
Normal shutdown
First, stop the operation through the control panel. After the equipment stops, turn off the power.
After the drying is completed, wait for 5 to 10 minutes before taking out the materials to avoid deformation or scalding.
Cleaning and maintenance
Daily maintenance: Clean the filter screen, empty the dust collection box, and check the safety of the power cord.
Monthly maintenance: Thoroughly clean the interior of the equipment, wipe the finned heat exchanger, and apply lubricating oil to components such as fans and bearings.
Annual maintenance: Check the tightness of screws, the reliability of grounding, and inspect the operating system of the computer board and the condition of the support springs.
Long-term discontinuation
Cut off the power supply, turn off the main power switch, put on the protective cover and store in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Vi. Safety Protection
Anti-electric shock
Ensure that the equipment is well grounded and regularly inspect the grounding device.
Avoid using in a damp environment to prevent electrical components from getting damp and leaking electricity.
Fire and explosion prevention
Do not dry flammable and explosive items (such as alcohol spray), and keep away from fire sources.
Regularly clean the accumulated dust on the fan to prevent friction and fire.
Prevent burns
Avoid touching the high-temperature exhaust port during operation. After the machine stops, remove the materials in time to prevent scalding by residual heat.
