Purchase the recommended type of engine oil in the manual. Before changing it, let the engine run for a period of time to raise the oil temperature, so that the waste oil can be completely drained.

Turn off the engine, open the oil filler cap, remove the oil drain screw of the oil pan, and drain all the oil. You can also open the oil filler port and tilt the lawn mower to the left to drain the oil (the air filter must be at the top).

Tighten the oil drain screw and replace the oil filter element (if necessary).

Add new engine oil to the appropriate position on the oil dipstick. The engine oil of the new lawn mower should be changed after the first 5 hours of operation. Thereafter, it should be changed every 30 to 50 hours of use. If the engine operates in a high-temperature or dusty environment, the oil change time should be around 25 hours. It can also be determined by the color of the oil in the oil chamber.

Start the engine and let it run for 5 minutes. Observe whether there is any oil leakage at the oil pan screw and the oil filter element. If so, it should be repaired.

After the engine stops, pull out the oil dipstick and check if the engine oil is within the standard range.

Please note that these are only general suggestions. The specific replacement cycle should refer to the recommendations of your lawn mower manufacturer. It is recommended that you refer to the user manual of the lawn mower to obtain more accurate information. The discharged waste engine oil should be properly stored and handed over to the waste oil recycler to avoid polluting the environment
