Operating Method of Garden Management Machine
The garden management machine includes a frame, height-adjustable handles, and a (air-cooled or water-cooled) diesel or gasoline engine mounted on the frame. The frame and handles are equipped with a gearbox, and the output shaft of the gearbox is fitted with a drivable wheel or track that can move along the shaft. Below are the operating instructions for the garden management machine:
1. **Engine Start and Shutdown**
- **Start**: Open the fuel valve, move the speed control lever to the starting position, and hold the recoil starter. (In cold winter weather, if the diesel engine is difficult to start, remove the oil filler plug on the cylinder head cover and add 2 ml of engine oil before starting. In cold conditions, allow the diesel engine to warm up for five minutes after starting.)
- **Shutdown**: First, move the speed control lever to the low-speed position and let the diesel engine run without load for five minutes. Then, move the lever to the "Stop" position. Do not use the decompression lever to shut down the engine. Finally, return the fuel valve to the "Off" position.
2. **Forward Movement, Turning, and Stopping**
- **Forward Movement**: Place the clutch lever in the "Disengage" position, select [High] or [Low] gear with the gearshift lever, slightly increase the engine speed by moving the throttle lever, and then slowly release the clutch lever to the "Engage" position to move the machine forward.
- **Turning**: Push the handlebars to turn the machine.
- **Gear Shifting**: Place the clutch lever in the "Disengage" position, shift the gearshift lever to the desired gear, and then slowly release the clutch lever to the "Engage" position to resume movement after shifting.
- **Stopping**: Place the clutch lever in the "Disengage" position to stop the machine, then move the throttle lever to the "Low" position and shut off the engine.
3. **Plowing Operation**
- Replace the wheels on the output shaft with large iron wheels.
- Remove the large pin from the resistance rod bracket and detach the bracket.
- Install the plow blade bracket onto the rear connecting frame of the machine, insert the large pin, and adjust the positioning bolts.
- During plowing, the offset adjustment handle can be moved to adjust the lateral angle of the plow body. The handwheel can be turned to raise or lower the plow body, changing the plowing depth by adjusting the entry angle.
4. **Rotary Tilling Operation**
- Select an appropriate working gear and resistance rod height based on soil conditions. Generally, use a fast gear for soft soil and raise the resistance rod for subsequent passes. For hard soil, use a slow gear, lower the resistance rod, and apply downward pressure on the handles to achieve the desired tilling depth.
- Work in sections (one bed at a time).
- When turning at the end of a row, lift the handles and resistance rod while stepping back, then forcefully push the handles to complete the turn.
