Solution

1. Check the usage condition of the cutter and keep it sharp.

2. Adjust the cutting speed of the header to "Fast". Adjust the speed of the feeding gearbox to "fast" by rotating the feeding gearbox. (Only applicable to ORBIS 3T model)

3. Additional components: Part number (ORBIS 600) 383704.0 / (ORBIS 450/600SD)383705.0, used for cutting and cleaning weeds and other blockages at the bottom of the cutter head.

Situation Two: How should it be handled when the feed cutter head is blocked by crops?

Model: ORBIS 450/600/600SD

Solution

1. Inspect the scraper of the internal feeding tray and replace the plastic scraper with an iron one.

2. Adjust the scraper inside the feeding tray to 2 millimeters.

Check the safety clutch of the feeding plate transmission. Part number 00 0932 946 3 is the latest version. (Note: The new version of the safety clutch only improves the service life of the internal parts, and the torque of the bolts is the same as that of the old safety clutch.) If the clutch on your machine is an old model, please contact your service dealer for repair or replacement.

Situation Three: How should it be handled when the front of the feeding roller is blocked by crops?

Model: ORBIS 450/600/600SD

Solution

1. Check the basic Settings of the feeding roller spring

2. Check the wear-resistant parts on the feeding roller. Removing the plastic plate of the top roller can improve the feeding effect of the top roller.

3. At the same time, adjust the speed of the gearbox on the right side of the machine to match the feeding speed. (Only applicable to ORBIS 3T model)

4. Check the setting of the scraper of the feeding vertical roller

5. Install component part number 2300369.0 on the Orbis header to increase the crop feeding Angle and improve the feeding effect

6. Install an additional component with part number 1310962.0 to clear possible blockages that may occur when feeding the vertical roller

Situation Four: How should it be handled when the top of the feeding tray is blocked by crops?

Model: ORBIS 450/600/600SD

Solution

1. Install the high feed cone - ORBIS 600/600SD part number 0498413.0

2. Install the low-feed cone - ORBIS 600/600 SD / 450 part number 498290.0

Situation Five: How should it be handled when the front part of the header is blocked by fallen corn?

Model: ORBIS 450/600/600SD

Solution

1. Make harvesting fallen corn easier: Install a central divider to help lift the fallen crops. Part number: 00 2302 082 0

2. Installing a fallen corn divider can help pick up fallen corn crops. The part number is 00 2302 405 0

3. At the same time, remove some of the guide rods. This will create more space to make it easier for the corn to enter the feeding tray

4. The remaining guide rods can be equipped with extension parts, so that fallen corn crops close to the ground can be picked up. The part number of the extension rod assembly is 00 1319 685 0
