Appearance inspection

Check whether there are any dents or deformations on each surface covering

Check for any damage or absence of surface parts

Check whether there are any signs of collision or cracking on structural components such as the upper and lower arms

Check whether there is any rupture or leakage in each rubber hose

Check whether all electrical components are damaged

Check whether there are any foreign objects, looseness or deformation on the surface of each chassis component

Check if there are any foreign objects in the engine compartment

Check if there are any foreign objects on the surface of the radiator

Check whether the crankcase ventilation pipe is blocked or bent and deformed

Check whether the engine support pad (engine claw pad) is in good condition

Check the tension of the tracks

Check the torque of the key bolts

Pre-startup inspection

Check the oil level and quality of the engine oil

Check the coolant level and oil quality

Check the level of the windshield washer fluid

Check the tension of the fan belt and the engine belt to see if they are aged

Check the level of the hydraulic oil

Check the oil level and quality of the gear oil

Check the fuel tank and the drainage of the oil-water separator

Check the oil level and quality of the walking reducer

Check the air filter element

Check the internal and external circulation filters of the air conditioner

Inspect each pin shaft and lubrication point, add grease to them, and if necessary, squeeze out the old oil from the oil passage

Check the battery and confirm the voltage

Check the tension of the tracks

Check the grease of the slewing support/slewing gear ring

Check whether the grease of the large rotary gear ring is sufficient

Check and apply grease to all lubrication points of the upper and lower arms

Operation inspection

  Start the machine and let it idle for 5 to 10 minutes to check if there are any fault codes and if the engine sound and smoke color are normal

  Test the horn and work light to check if the air conditioning system is working properly

  Excavate and load the vehicle without load for 3 to 5 cycles. Check whether all working parts operate smoothly and if there are any abnormal noises during 

the operation

  Lift the left and right tracks in sequence and rotate them 1-2 turns in the forward and backward directions respectively to check if there are any 

abnormalities in the chassis components during operation

  If the excavator has not been used for a long time, the lubricating oil film on the transmission surfaces of each internal component may have disappeared.

 It is necessary to perform the circulating walking and rotating hydraulic functions 2-3 times to lubricate the surfaces of each transmission component

  Drain and discharge water from the oil-water separator. After the machine stops, check if there is any oil or water leakage

Environmental inspection

  Safety warning signs should be set up around and at the entrances and exits of the parking areas for construction machinery. The parking positions 

should be reasonable to accommodate the space required for their own movement

  The site should be flat and solid, allowing construction machinery to enter and exit freely and facilitating evacuation in case of emergency

  At night, there should be sufficient lighting, fire-fighting equipment should be reasonably configured, and fire prevention and explosion prevention 

work should be well done

Experienced driver status check

  Excavators need to adjust their conditions, and excavator drivers should also adjust their working conditions well, always keep a clear mind, and possess 

relatively complete safety knowledge.

  Clean the excavator's glass thoroughly, tidy up the interior of the excavator's cab, and inspect the operation handle and walking pedal, etc.

  After preheating for 5 minutes, when the water temperature reaches a certain level, operate the handle to test the movements in each direction respectively

"listen" to the overall operation status of the machine. If there is any abnormality, get off the vehicle at any time for inspection and handle it according to 

the steps.
