Introduction to Precautions for the running-in of New Cranes
The running-in period of a new car is an important stage to ensure its long-term operation. After the running-in period, the surfaces of all moving parts will be fully worn in, thereby extending the service life of the truck crane chassis. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully carry out the running-in work of a new car and ensure that the car is in a normal working state before the running-in.
Precautions for break-in
The running-in mileage of the new car is 2,000 kilometers.
2. After a cold engine is just started, do not accelerate immediately. Only when it reaches the normal operating temperature can the engine speed be increased.
3. During the running-in period, it should be driven on a flat and good road surface.
4. Gears should be shifted in a timely manner, and the clutch should be engaged smoothly to avoid sudden acceleration and emergency braking.
5. Shift to a lower gear in time before going uphill and do not let the engine operate at a very low speed. Check and control the normal oil pressure and coolant temperature of the engine. Always pay attention to the temperature of the transmission, rear axle, wheel hub and brake drum. If there is severe heating, find out the cause and adjust or repair it immediately.
6. During the first 50 kilometers of driving and after each wheel change, the wheel nuts must be tightened with the specified torque.
7. Check the tightness of bolts and nuts at all parts, especially the cylinder head bolts. When the car has traveled 300 kilometers, tighten the cylinder head nuts in the prescribed sequence while the engine is still hot.
8. Within the running-in period of 2,000 kilometers, the speed limit for each gear is as follows: First gear: 5km/h; Second gear: 5km/h Gear 3:10km/h Fourth gear: 15km/h Gear 5:25 km/h Gear 6:35 km/h Gear 7:50km/h Gear 8:60 km/h.
After the running-in period is completed, a comprehensive mandatory maintenance should be carried out on the chassis of the truck crane. The mandatory maintenance should be conducted at the maintenance station designated by the company.
