The only one! Yuchai won the Special Prize of the first Guangxi Award!

On November 4th, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region released the list of winning projects of the "First Guangxi Award". Two inventions of Yuchai, namely "Support Structure for Cylinder Liner of High-Speed Marine Diesel Engine" and "Intercooler for V-Type Multi-cylinder Engine", were listed, among which "Support Structure for Cylinder Liner of High-Speed Marine Diesel Engine" won the only special prize.

The "Cylinder liner support structure for High-Speed Marine diesel engines" and the "intercooler for V-type multi-cylinder Engines" are two core technologies designed around engine performance. They have overcome many common and key technical problems existing in their respective fields, significantly enhancing engine performance. They have made outstanding contributions to the high-strength and lightweight design of engines as well as cooling efficiency. At present, both invention technologies have been widely applied to engines and achieved remarkable results.

For a long time, Yuchai has attached great importance to intellectual property work and actively promoted the application of intellectual property rights. Its application volume has ranked first in Guangxi for 15 consecutive years. Five major special projects in Guangxi led by Yuchai have been successfully included in the implementation plan of the "14th Five-Year Plan" Guangxi Machinery Manufacturing and High-End Equipment Science and Technology Major Special Project. Four projects, including "Four-Valve Diesel Engine Cylinder Head Unloading Groove", have won the National Excellence Award. The company has been recognized by the National Intellectual Property Administration as a "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise".
